Course Curriculum Overview

4

I could see some new subjects like Innovation Design although zero credit but there classes were taken seriously and aimed at improving our thinking skills. These kind of courses prepare us to solve real time problems. Engineering Graphics with Autocad earlier Engineering Drawing tells how the college focuses on the new and upgraded version of the subject. Frequency is good of the classes and timing of exams are all good. Areas of improvement could be Professors be motivated to make students love the subject and realize the subject's importance.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportuinities in the college are not that good. It all depends upon your skill but a month internship is must in order to seat for the campus placements. At the end it depends upon the skill for example a 3year sir of mechanical branch is having an intern in an MNC and earning lakhs in machine learing field highest intership even CSE students could not get that. Some have worked as interns with IIT professors.

Placement Experience

4

Placement scenario is good in the college. The Training and Placement Cell of MMMUT is responsible for the Internships and placements in the college. The total strength of 4th year was around 1,000 and approximately 89% placement percentage was seen in year 2024-2025. Average package was 7 LPA and highest was 59 LPA and total offers was 1100+ all for the session 2024-2025. 59 LPA package was of an IT student in Uber company. Some companies that visited the campus were J.P Morgan, Uber, Amazon, Aditya Birla, TCS, IBM, Torrent Gas, L and T, etc. The college also holds some good records in government examinations like UPSC-CSE, GATE,etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is total of 1,38,000 approximately for a year, which does not include the hostel charges. Hostel fees is 30,000 for a year while the mess fees is 18,000 per semester. All other caution fees and registration, development and lab fees are included in academic fees. There is a scholarship provided by the UP government with home domicile of about 50,000 per year. As a government technical instituition is quite high as compared to Aktu colleges.

Campus Life

5

Some of the annual events are Tech-Srijan ( Technical Event ), Aayaas ( Sports Event) and Abhyudaya (Cultural Event). Generally they are held in second semester in Dec,Jan and Feb months respectively and hence second sem is event sem. Library is good enough and a variety of books can be seen, also has AC rooms and digital library with variety of ebooks. All major sports are played and trials are held in your second sem in first year. Alot of clubs like SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), Drone and IOT, Cultural Clubs like Editorial Club, Music Club, Robotic Club play a major role in college. They all are aimed for overall development of an individual.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel fees is 30,000 per year and mess fees total 36,000 (18,000 paid per semester). Overall the rooms are average at the starting you are alloted with either 3 seater or 2 seater in first year. Mess food is average, if it gets poor you need to elect a mess secretary among yourself and rest is the duty of his to talk to mess manager and mange the quality. You need to give an application to DSA ( Dean of student affairs) after the allotment of seat for allotment of hostel. There are mainy PG and rooms available at around 3,000 per month without food charges.

Admission

Other colleges where AKTU colleges like IET, BIET and I could have gone for private colleges like GL Bajaj. I choose this college because of it's NIRF ranking and I could easily get mechanical here and core subjects are good here even better than IET. In IET due to my rank I didn't secure a seat while I was alloted a seat in BIET Jhansi but at that time I was in college and MMMUT is better than BIET. You get a seat here on the basis of JEE Mains examination and through personal counselling of MMMUT. Different courses offered are B.Tech, BBA, BPharama, MTech, Phd, MBA, MCA,etc. Branches in B.Tech are Computer Science, IT, ECE, ECE(IOT), Mechanical Engineering, Civil, Chemical and Electrical. Along with normal online counselling there are spot rounds also held in which offline counselling is done on the basis of JEE rank.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is average, faculty is approachable for doubts but sometimes even they lack in their basics. Some faculties were good especialy of Eng. Physics and Eng. Chemistry. While some only wrote on boards explained themselves and left. Exam copies are not checked on the basis of the quality of content but on the mood on Professor and number of pages filled. Exam paper set were not tough but average basic questions asked.

Night Life

4

Gym, Cafeteria is all available inside the campus along with Post office and Atm. Hostel timings for the first year is from 8 to 6 pm in first sem and from second sem it gradually goes to 7pm depends upon your alloted hostel and hostel warden. Famous places to visit near the college is Nauka Vihar and Gorakhnath Temple. On the campus is huge spread across 350 acres and greenary can be clearly seen.

Placement Experience:

This year the placement ratio was significantly low and only few mass hiring companies came to the college. The companies were either startups and have no significant market presence or they were recruiting selective students. The main goal is now to avail a offer off-campus or to change the focus to some other competitive exams for higher studies.

The campus selection have not been good since the pandemic and mostly the top layer is offered job in campus placements. But since Bhadohi is a carpet hub so you don't have to worry about placements and focus on your studies. There are many companies that visit our college like Vardhaman, Standard Carpets, Champo, Surya Carpets, Agni, and many more ( You can get the list of company on IICT's official website). The highest package offered was about 10 lakhs by Standard Carpets( Dubai ) and the acerage package is 3-4 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed by campus selsction is 30-35 and then some of the students give GATE entrance exam and go for higher studies in reputated IITs.
