My College Experience

Overall I would say getting my bachelors in our college was my best decision and I wouldn't regret it. Our college management has supported us a lot in making our way to the challenging world and guided us to a great career.

Our college is affiliated to JNTUH and hence our curriculum and the college structure is based on the affiliated university. Our curriculum not only includes technical subjects needed for its industry but also include subjects which provide for interpersonal skills and personality development which is much needed in both our personal and professional lives.

The placement at our college is very capable and efficient in bringing the top MNC's to our college for recruitment. I personally have been placed in three companies TCS, Capgemini and Accenture. Our college also provided us with certification training during our summer break which is beneficial for my upcoming career. Around 15-20 colleges visited our college.

Our college organizes a yearly fest VIGNA TARANG, which is usually a two-day fest wherein well-known celebrities, singers are being hosted and students from another college also do attend the fest. Even DJ is being placed on these two days till night. Besides these the college also conducts technical fests, seminars, workshops, alumni meets and many more. They are still more cultural events being held at our college.

The campus life at Vignan went on like a smooth walk. The gender ratio of boys and girls was like 20:34 and we also have people coming from remote places and other cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru. There are sufficient labs provided by the college for all the branches. Our college hosts many technical seminars, workshops, alumni meets, coding competitions every semester.

I have a few friends who were alumni of our college. Some of them are currently working in top MNC's while some are pursuing their masters broad. During our alumni meets our seniors come to interact with us and they tell them about their experiences in the college and outside world and give us suggestions for our career.

I have taken the TS EAMCET exam in which I secured 17k rank. I have seen and gone through brochures of many colleges. I got to know about this college through my relatives. Having a good rank in my eamcet I got cse seat and then cleared my first-year fees and then joined the college by 8th of august 2016.

The faculty at our college are coordinate and quite approachable. They have always bridged the gap between the subject knowledge and the practical knowledge needed to survive in the competitive market. They have always guided us throughout these years and helped us make a career.
