Course Curriculum Overview

4

For B.Sc B.Ed the course curriculum is based on the old curriculum but I think it will adopt the new curriculum soon, the college operates with a mix of old and new curriculum. For B.Sc B.Ed there are 10 subject, For Bsc part you can choose 3 electives, you have choice between Chemistry Physics Mathematics Zoology And Botany, For Foundation Course there are FC1 FC2 and FC3 which are Moral values, Hindi and English respectively (for FIRST YEAR) subject may change in next years For the B.Ed part there are 2 subject in first year CC1 and CC2 they give us knowledge about school education in India, students psychology, human development, teaching methods and etc. we also have physical education class every week apart from this a weekly period for a mentoring class in which you can discuss your problem with your mentor and a value and education class in which you are given moral values The curriculum is well prepared keeping in mind it's a integrated course, the curriculum is balanced with equal importance to the BSc part as well as the BEd part the exams will be held in the 8 main subjects you don't have exams in physical education and value education only the 3 electives, FC1, 2 and 3 and the CC1 and 2 so 8 subject in total

Internships Opportunities

4

I dont know about other courses but for BSc BEd they have Internship from the 4th year, usually the whole 7th semester is about internship you get to work as a intern teacher in various schools, you also get to do projects in your course which is a part of internal assessment

Placement Experience

2

I don't have a idea about the placement but I guess the placement opportunities are very low, you have Internship opportunities from the 3rd and 4th year. For BSc BEd, DEl.Ed and other courses you have Internship for teaching as a intern in other schools also there are many certificate courses and seminars held regularly. According to the college there are placements every year but I don't think that is authentic information.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for 1st year for B.Sc B.Ed is 26090 rs out of which 22000 is tution fees and 4090 is addmission fees which includes a refundable caution fees of 1500 rs which will be refunded after the course completion the fees for subsequent years are 22000 yearly for the next three year so the total fees of the course for 4 year is 92090 rs Other fees like exam registration fee are also to be paid by the students before every semester exam which is about 1000 rs Category wise Scholarships are also available for students belonging to SC ST and OBC which is given by the state and central government schemes, the amount of the scholarship varies from 30-40 % of the course fee for OBC and 80-100 % for SC and ST with conditions like annual income of the family and domicile of the student playing a important role

Campus Life

3

The campus life is ok ok not very good as the campus is situated in the outskirts of the city so the city connectivity is very less, also the hostel timing is very strict you have to be inside the college before 6 pm in the evening. After that you won't be allowed to go out. The college celebrates every festival under the inter religious forum like diwali christmas etc an annual gathering is held before Christmas which includes games cultural dance and more many other seminars and festivals are held regularly, library has wide range of books with easy accessibility, classroom facilities are good with seminar halls gathering halls, physics chemistry biology labs computer labs library etc sports facilities are also ok ok not very good but ok, many various club are present like cultural club science club etc Ncc and Nss are also there, camps are held for NCC and NSS volunteer, freshers party farewell party and other events are also held

Admission

I applied to Delhi University which is a national level university, I got accepted but I choose this college over DU because of one simple reason that is it's in my home city so I will be close to home, also the course I chose is a integrated course so I will have two degrees at the end of the course, i also considered other colleges in the city but no other colleges had this integrated BSc BEd course so my ultimate option was to go with this college, you can not compare this college to DU or other national university but in jabalpur it is a good choice. But for Btech i would suggest you go for other colleges like Global or Gyan Ganga. Addmission process was easy you first have to register in e pravesh portal of MP government then the choice filling part then if you get selected you will be allotted a help centre college where you will have to go and submit your documents and a fees of 5000 something which is included in the tution fees. Then you will have to go to the college and fill a offline form and select your subject combination pay a addmission fees of 4000 then your addmission will be confirmed

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college are mostly very good they have great subject knowledge as well as good Teaching methods, all the professors are very much helpful in studies you can approach them and ask for any doubts they will reply, they are all very friendly to the students and supports whenever needed, students faculty ratio is also good they have 2-3 professor of each subjects like maths physics chemistry, overall the faculty is good knowledgeable friendly and supportive The main university exams are held semester wise at the end of each semester along with that there are two CCE examination like unit tests held twice in every semester they are of less marks and are for the preparation of main university exams and held on college level only The CCE exams are not very hard they are moderate level, for a student who has knowledge of the subject can pass easily while the university exams are on a tougher side as they are lengthy and time is less but still you can pass them easily if you study regularly As of now the course follows the old curriculum but it is transitioning into the new curriculum and the new education policy

Night Life

3

The campus has a canteen a cafe and a stationary but outside the campus the shops are very far away as the campus is in the outer city, hostel timing are strict you have to be in by 6 pm in the evening after 6 pm no one goes outside, jabalpur has many hangout places like bhedaghat waterfall, dumna nature reserve, madan Mahal fort, balancing rock, bhadbhada waterall, gaur river which is very near, jamtara bridge, gwarighat and many more, the nightlife is not good as you have to attend hostel before 6 pm. But if you take a personal room or pg outside college you can have many opportunities to explore the city the locality is also safe

It's mostly the law firms as corporate houses have so far have drench coming to our campus. The reasons are obvious as just three batches have been passed out from her so far and unless a strong alumni network is formed it is impossible to get great placements from our campus.
