Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well structured. The college is affiliated with government universities, so the syllabus and curriculum are designed and approved by the universities. But the college provides value-added certification courses, industrial visits, and guest lectures, which made the program more practical.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides an internship opportunity from the 2nd and 3rd year. Many of these internships come with a stipend of 5000-20,0000, but it totally depends on the student knowledge and skills. Companies like Accenture, HCL, TCS and many more.
Placement Experience
Students generally become eligible for campus placement in the 6th sem. Before placement college provide pre-placement training sessions to the students, which include resume building sessions, communication skills workshops, mock interviews and grooming sessions. The GN Group of institutes has an MOU signed with the reputed organisations, which helps a lot in campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure for BCA- The annual fee is Rs 71,700. Course duration is 3 years. The semester-wise breakdown for the odd semester is Rs 31,700 and for the even semester, Rs 20,000. The one-time registration amount is Rs 1000. Therefore, the total fee for 3 years is Rs. 2,15,100. But the university exam fee is not included in the course fee, and is paid by the students themselves. GN Group offers various scholarships/waivers for deserving students. Merit-based scholarship with high performance or special backgrounds, for female candidates. Also, Government Scholarships are available for students.
Campus Life
The college hosts an annual and technical festival, the fresher's and farewell party. In which college invites a celebrity also. The college library is well-equipped with books and digital resources. Classrooms are well-maintained, there are smart boards and wifi connectivity. The college also runs different clubs, like dance, music, sports, fashion and many more clubs.
Admission
I applied to a few other colleges that offer similar program. But I chose GN Group for its academic reputation and experienced faculty, other opportunities they provide for practical knowledge and skill development, such as value-added certification courses, industrial visits, and many.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is well balanced. The faculty is highly qualified. The course curriculum is well structured. There are digital classrooms. The pass ratio is high, as weekly and monthly class tests help a lot in external exams.
Night Life
The college offers well - maintained cafeteria, library and public spaces for students to relax, study and socialize. The hostel facility is in the campus only. The locality around the campus is safe.
