Course Curriculum Overview

4

So, I did B.Tech in Civil Engineering and the curriculum designed according to the UGC standards. I find the curriculum is relevant and well structured meets to learn engineering field knowledge. Subjects such as: Structural engineering, building construction technology, Engineering design and drawing, structural analysis etc. I feel is that areas of improvements: Provide practical teaching methodology, Placement opportunities, organize events and co-curricular activities, Internships, seminars, field visit 30% Internal and 70 % external exam, the university follows a semester/annual examination system depends on course to course

Internships Opportunities

2

No internships offered, no placement opportunities, Vary rare field visit these are areas of improvement that University must look into this. Specially Engineering students needs good laboratories, industry connections for the internahsip and projects

Fees and Financial Aid

Typical fee ranges: For UG/PG program: Rs. 24000 to Rs.1,93000 Total B.tech 4 Yrs: Approx.1,93,000 MA 2 yrs: approx. 24000 MBA 2 yrs.: Approx. 1,20,000 B.ed 2 Yrs. : Approx. 80,000 Other fees: Enrolment fees/Lab fees/Caution money : approx. Rs. 5000-9000/- Schoalrship and financial aids: Schoalrships offer by State Govt. Coverage: Tuition fees wavier Rental allowances Financial aid are available subtantial for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and for academically strong stduents

Campus Life

3

I am sorry to say but University lacks to provide great experience with campus life, No activities, no clubhouse, not standard laboratories, not much tech festivals and event organized for the students, lack in good infrastructure

Admission

I have choosen MGCGVV University because its state govt. recognized University with good acceptance rate for almost all the programs specially for Engineering program such as (Civil Engineering, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering. Note: This University is very well known for Agricultural Engineeirng /Bsc.&Msc. Agriculture I have secured Full scholarship (Tuition fees wavier), University offered very low tuition fees also offer schoalrship its plus point for me not to break the bank for studies. Admission process: Online as well as offline counselling Examination required: No university entrance test For engineering: JEE Qualified only not specific mark cutoff but it depends on how many stduents are applying For other course: You can also participate CLC/offline counselling

Faculty

4

1. Most of the faculty are permanent with highly qualified professors and assistance professors 2. Student: Faculty ratio ~ 17:1 which seems good for attention 3. "A" grad University 4. Every type of programs are available such as Technical/UG/PG Engineering, Arts, Management, Science 5. Exam structure is External: Internal - Typically external written exam of 70 marks and Internal exam of 30 marks Syllabus is designed according to the examination board standards and for great learning 6. About faculty: We had a very friendly professors with highly qualifie faculty, they are cooperative but we as a student want practical education based aproach which lacks about professor.

Night Life

3

University lacks to offer grat nigh life environment for the stduents, Gym is not properly functioned, needs improvement in cafeteria. I appreciate for green campus and good arts and design Hangout: Ypu may hangout with the friends outside campus near besides the bank of river with natural environment, famous religious places of chitrakoot

If we're talking about placements so students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Many of companies came to my college to hier students and companies like yash technologies, wipro , infosys etc. Students get highest package of 12lpa and average package of 3lpa. 90% of students got placed and remaining 10% are those who didn't sit in placement and some of them who want to do higher studies. My plan is to get a good job at a good position in a reputed company

Placement Experience:

In my college, students become eligible for campus placements from the pre-final year itself (generally from the 5th or 6th semester), which gives them ample time to prepare and participate in the recruitment process. The placement cell of the college is highly active and dedicated, consistently bringing in a wide range of reputed companies from different sectors such as IT, core industries, finance, and consulting. Every year, numerous well-known companies visit the campus and collectively make a significant number of offers, ensuring that students get diverse career opportunities. The college has an impressive placement record, with competitive salary packages offered across various profiles. The highest package offered has been remarkably attractive, reflecting the quality of students and training provided, while the average package is also quite satisfactory and ensures a stable start to students’ careers. The roles offered range from technical positions like software developer and engineer to non-technical roles such as management trainee and analyst, giving students flexibility based on their interests and skills. A good percentage of students secure placements every year, which clearly highlights the strong industry connections and the effectiveness of the training and placement cell. The college also provides continuous support in terms of aptitude training, mock interviews, personality development sessions, and skill enhancement programs, which significantly boost students’ confidence and employability. As far as my future plans are concerned, after completing my degree, I aim to secure a good position through campus placement in a reputed organization where I can apply my knowledge, gain practical experience, and grow professionally. In the long term, I aspire to enhance my skills further and achieve a responsible position in my field, contributing meaningfully to the organization and society. Overall, the placement opportunities and career support provide

Placements are based on the training as some students opt out. The companies these days have an assessment test and it's because of that they choose the candidates. That is followed by an interview and our department prepares us for that and those who does well or showcase themselves well get in excess of 10 lakhs easily.
