College Review

Good and bad are two sides of a coin. College has some quiet good aspects while some bad aspects are there. Many good thing i have mentioned above and i think this one is important one. It is a totally raggong free campus.

As it is an autonomous college so the Course Curriculum is selg structured ,how ever it follows the BPUT structure up to some extent. And course is more about theoritical knowldge. This coursr structure offers very less practical knowldege. In 4 years of B.tech there arr 8 semistars ,2 per year and along with semestat you have to attend mid sem.

CSE,ME,EE,I &E,CE,TE branches are there.So job opportunities depends on your branch largely.As CSE branac is quite good at my place so placement and job opportunities is great in that section. Yes college do provides intership but i am in 1st year now and i haven't done any intership yet so i have no idae about stipend.

Freshers Party,Xtacy, And there is separate branch wise fest in all branches. Though the last year xtacy was canceled due to some resaon but all the branch fests are fun.

As i mentioned before it's a government college so the fee structure is feasible. Admission cost per semistar is about fifteen thousand. And fifteen thousand is fot the general category students. SC ST category student pay little less.

On very 1st year of the college there is a government scholarship about ten thousand but only for them whose financial background is not so sound.In case of SC ST students that scholarship is about eighty thousand.

There is drama academy named Ahuja. They do plays nukkad. There is also a cricket team which is quite good one indeed.They have won several inter college tournaments.And there is also a football team. And the labs are well structured.

Ok i am in 1st year.And there is a very less seats for the freshers on the hostel. Am not a hostelite so i don't hava a brief idead about the hostels but the infrastructure looks good from outside. Wifi is available in hostel.

Alumni in CET are great. They are really helpful. Recently in Odisha cyclone Fani devastated Odisha. Our college is also a victim.The alumni helped a lot to stand again. Alumni who have achieved remarkable success in life often advices us.

In my college admission ia based on JEE MAIN rank. You have to go through a counselling process to get admission in my college. 1st you have to score some remarkable numbers in JEE MAIN. During councelling process choose the college.

It's one of the reputed government engineering college in Odisha ,so the faculties are good. Not the best but not the bad ones at all. Some well educated seniot faculties with doctoarte are also here. Some faculties are not permanent but that's not a matter.
