- The dress code like black shirts, jeans and t shirts are not allowed in this college.

- Treat everyone equal and mainly college should conduct culturals by their own and not by the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is B.Tech - Electronics and Communication Engineering, the course is very useful for the upcoming years. The growth of core companies are more. There is a hands-on experience in the lab sessions.
Internships Opportunities
There is a internship which are coming at the time of placements, In other colleges the intership is compulsary for each semester but in this college they won't tell you to do internship you have to learn by your own and prepare for your growth.
Placement Experience
The placements where not more for my branch. There was only for IT related placements. Eventhough the placed student for each company is less than 10 or 20 for each company, the applied students count was more than 5000 but the placed count for each company is 6 to 7. This is not a good placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was 800000 for whole 4 years. For each year it will be around 200000(including the exam fee, sem fee, lab fee, breakage due). There is no referal in this college if you have scored above 60% and secured a good score in JEE main you will be eligible for the college.
Campus Life
The experience in the campus life is not satisfied mainly in SRC campus. The faculty and other workers in the college are treating students as a other person there will not be a chances for building your friendship more, if you are noted to be talking are going with your opposite gender they will look at you as a blackmarked person.
Admission
I chose this college because of the placement and it is one of the top colleges. I have applied for the Amirtha Nandha college at Coimbatore, there was a online assesment and i have cleared. When coming to the fee structure it was comparitively high so i chose SASTRA.
Faculty
The faculty are good upto their knowledge. Many professors have completed thier Phd and teaches their experience to the students. They guide their students in the right way. Eventhough there are some faculties who are not fit and showing partiality. If students make any compliants after each semester there is no action taken.
Night Life
The canteen area is too small and there is no many dishes. library is available but they have seperated that also for girls and boys, There is over rule for everything in this college, for example school life and rules are better than this college rule.
