GEMS is a real GEM!!

Our course is as good that in our third year, we know all the characteristics and final year is more of a revision. Sonit is what going on currently and more than happy how our college went about the course. I felt so happy and the grit that I went through was worth everything.

It's our very own hospital or we have to enroll at some hospital and we are provided certificate from there as a year long intenrship is mandatory. We are paid inbetween 30-40k for Internships and if we go in private hospitals for internships, it can be more too.

After doing BPT, we have to go through a paid internship and that's mandatory to get the degree. So after that, we are hired by hospitals as each hospitals in India and even wellness centres have a Physiotherapy room. Some go for individual practice and some even work as freelancers as well.

GEMS have many colleges and GEMS College of Physiotherapy is where I am studying currently. I am into my final year and next year will to attend a compulsory mandatory program. The fees is 1.4 lakhs a year and is very reasonable.

Our college is big as there are various buildings and quarters as well. We also have a playground and two canteens. There's also a hospital at our college and it's state of the art. We have all the medical facilities and we do have a physiotherapy lab as well where demo are provided through AI. Fests and all are also there but in medical College it's more of serious studies.

I applied at various colleges as I gave NEET. My main target were government medical colleges but I couldn't and our college had management seats so I chose this. One can get admission here through convenor or through management quota as both the options are available.

In a medical College all the faculties are doctors and so we call them Doctors. All of them are Physiotherapist and work in our college hospital. All of them ar experts and teaches us so well in the classes and during live practicals too.

We have to be up always if we stay at the campus but I was a localite and therefore didn't had that luxury. We have a SJV Food court which is at a km from our college and that's our go to place for lunch. We also have a Thug Cafe Food Island if we want some fancy dishes for meal.
