Ideal college for nursing students with good facilities

The overall course is excellent because it comes under professional course and provide job security , Not only that there are much more opportunity and self growth in this course This course prepare students well in clinical as well in theortical aspect Clincal posting helps students to become a good nurse and perform well in real life situation There is need in improvement for more theoretical knowlege The final exam are easy and based on syllabus and also previous year question are also useful For gnm there is only one exam by dnc Of 75 marks which is external and Other 25 are from college itself (internal) Which given to student according to there marks in past exam of term 1 and 2 and pre council and also given according to there assignments

Students after completed gnm or bsc can directly work in hospital Student pass from this college can work in holy family hospital easily wothout any exam And can also in other hospitsl but they have to give exam and interview to work In holy family hospital average package is 25000 to 30000 Some hospital also give 15000 to 20000 There is no percent for getting placement it depends on entrace exam of hospital in which you are going to work I am planning for futher study (post basic) After completing my gnm

The yearly fees for gnm nursing is 126000 for 1st year but we have to pay mess fee separately which is 1800 which recently got increased to 2000, other than that medical checkup fee is 4000 and books and uninform fee are paid seprately and can vary every year approximately 10000. We have to also pay for community bag rs 500 DNC compeyancy rs 200 DNC registration fee 3900 for 3 year ( 1300 for each year ) medical facilities for 3 year have to pay rs 10000 Scholarships are also provided in college like sikhsa kanya or NSP for Tibetian and other students with economically weaker session Each scholarship have different criteria of 12 th ? and there parents income Scholarship provide 50000 For 2nd year and 3rd year it is slightly less around 119000 can vary each year Scholarship is provided each year to student

Every month there is a vandana prayer to celebration all fevesticals together that come under that month Major festivals like onam and christmas ,sports day are celebrated with much more attention. Liberary are so good There is free wifi ,computer and printer facilities are available This library have book for all course like for msc student, gnm ,bsc ,post basic and even higher level books for doctors Our classrom are have facilities of smart board We also have air conditioner in our classromm They are well maintained and cleaned by claning staff regularly Sports month is celebrated where not only students but hospital staff also participate Together This sports event is celebrated whole month Excited suprise gifts and trophies are for winners Our college have SNA community which is related to Tnai Every year sna elections are held They are responsible for arrangement of function and work as a member of tnai

Hostel is compulsory here Rooms are good they Provide you with bed and matress ,almirah and table Fan and light are working Meals are provided in mess which is of ggod quality Because of being a common mess of hosptal staff and doctors and student

I apply for apollo, JRT college of nursing and holy family Out of which holy family entrace exam are earlier before both other colleges So i give entrance in it and also got selected in first list So,thats why i did not giver other colleges exam I am very confined in myself that why i got selected in my first attempt, and i also wanted to join holy family college, due there good reputation so that why i choose this college For admission to this college we have to fill out the form ,which is available on holy family college of nursing offical website Any 12th pass Student can give this exam With any stream for gnm But bsc science in 12th is mandatory Student must be female And have to pass entrance exam and interviews wich is based on general science and general knowledge

Faculty members are excellent, they all are experienced and approcable and most intersting thing is that some of faculty members are studied from this college and now teaching here also. Students also got mentor mentee sessions, Where there assign teacher mentor them ,listen to there problems,solve them and much more My favorite faculty member is Tanu mam My anotomy subjects incharge Her teaching style is unique and friendly Also special faculty member komal mam At first i didn't like her becuase she scolded everyone regarding dnc requirement everytime force student to complete there competancy very earlier which is quiet hard for us But now,i understand that for our good Beacause our bathch completed competancy early ,we got exam preparatory leaves because of her. In gnm course ,exam are conducted in two term Term 1 and 2 and then pre council and mid term as per need of students Difficulty level is moderate Ratio for failing in final exam are 0 , May be one and two can supplementary but not failed the exams Our overall course are not much hard it inculde basics and can be easily learned just required some hardwork Faculty member ratio are good enough and there is lack of teachers to teachers Also every year new teachers are also joining college to teach

Students are not allowed to leave hostel after classes (after 4)they can walk in herberium or go to canteen there is gym also here so they can go there or in library On staurday student can go home after classes Those who can't go home can go for outing but have to come back befor 7 They can also go on sunday outing from morning and come back before 7 Hostel area is also good There is panatry where you can cook And laundry area for washing clothes Badminton court is there also College is attached to hostel so In that area wifi availablity is there CP and metro station is very near for outing
