Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Bcom because, the curriculum covered a wide range of subjects like accounting, business law, economics and taxation. I liked that it gave a strong foundation in commerce along with option to specialise later. The Bcom curriculum builds a stong base in accounting, finance, economics and in business law which is very useful in real world, especially for careers in banking, taxation or entrepreneurship. While the course cover all the essentials topics. I think a few areas can be improved for example the curriculum should be updated more regularly to include current industries trends and tools like workshops, live projects or case studies would help to apply there knowledge better. We have major exam twice a year and units as well. Along with assignments, they're usually scheduled at the end of the semester, giving enough preparation time.
Placement Experience
Students usually become eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards. Most companies start visiting in the final year. So placement typically begins during 5th or 6th semester. Honestly, i dont have the exact details. But i know placements happens regularly and some of my senior have been placed in good company. I am not fully aware of the exact highest or average package for bcom students in ckt clg . The placement cell usually shares those details during the final year. But from what senior has said, company like TCS, WNS , ICICI and HDFC banks offers roles in finance, sales and operations ". I am not exactly sure of the precise number, but from what I've heard , around 20 to 30% of Bcom students get placed through campus.if you include internships and off-campus opportunities it could be closer to 30 to 40%. After graduation, i plan to pursue higher studies, im considering options like an MBA or MCOM to specialise further.

Campus Life
Ckt collage hosts several annual and technical festivals. The main cultural festival is CHETNA which is usually held in jan or feb The collage library has good range of books covering core subjects like accounting, economics, finance and business law, it also has references books , previous years question papers and some academic journals. Classroom has all the basic facilities and some are equipped with projectors and audio systems of digital learning. The collage encourages both sports and cultural activities from cricket and football to dance, drama and debate. Yes, there are clubs like NSS, cultural groups, and departments based committees. They organise events and help students develop leadership and team skills while making clg life more engaging.
Admission
I had applied to a few other clg like SIES (nerul) somaya clg ( ghatkopar ) amd i did receive confirmation from somaya clg but i choose this cause few key reasons: its reputation of my course, the quality of faculty, and the main point it was near as compared to other and overall, this collage felt like the best fit for both my academic and personal growth. Yes i did face a rejection from one of the collage i applied to. The collage was SIES . My marks were decent, but maybe not competitive enough for that sies clg. The admission process in my collage was merit based . For my course . No entrence exam was required- selection was based on class 12th marks. the cutoff were around 80 to 90% in first list. I applied online , and the process was smooth, with documents verification amd fee payment done after selection.
Faculty
The facilty to students ratio is balanced. We get individual attention when needed. Most professors are very approachable. They are open to questions during after the class. One of my favourite faculty is S-B yadav sir who teaches accounting. I really like there teaching style because, they make complex topics easy to understand. One faculty I found difficult to follow is kirti ma'am because the pase of teaching was to fast and the explanation were not very detailed. There were 2 major exam per year and 2 units For practice. The exam was moderated- not to tough if you have studied consistently.A few students may fail in difficult subjects, but overall pass rate are decent.
Interview Experience
There were no GD held Eligible: 12 th pass Step 1 : register on Mumbai university portal Step 2 : Fill CKT clg form on official website Step 3 : upload/submit documents Step 4 : wait for merit list Step 5 : pay fees and confirm admission Confidence is key, i am always prepare for what's comming
