- Mess food , we have variety but sometimes they make okish food
- Natives are not unable to understand english and hindi so communication is a bit difficult
- Most of the teachers are motivating but some also demotivate us
Course Curriculum Overview
We have 8sem duration of 4yrs. We have 2cts for even sem feb and april and for odd its aug and october then we have end sem the following month . But this can also vary from teacher to teacher. It can be continuous or with gaps depends again on teachers
Internships Opportunities
You can work under varoius startups from e cell or under professor with their ongoing projects as research intern . Or you have to sit for internship process where you have to give OT's of companies and then pi's for getting selected as intern
Placement Experience
College placements are very good , we even have internships opportunities both under the professors as research intern as well as through their referral . We have rigourous exams (OT) for various companies through which we sit for their internship and placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee we pay varies but generally its almost around 120000Rs(including tutuon and hostel) separately hostel and mess fee is around 40000rs and tuition fee is around 80000rs. All sorts of scholarship is provided ntse kvpy medhavi etc
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs in nit tiruchurappalli from tech clubs to social clubs, though you have to complete their induction process so as to get into it. Sports and extracurricular activities are also present if you want to be a part of contigent teams , again you have to give trials when the time comes
Hostel Facilities
There are many hostels for students, everyone get to choose 2 options during their 1st yr either 3 sharing or 4 sharing , then later during your 2yr onwards it becomes 2 & 3 sharing . We have wifi in each amd every room with speed upto 540gbps Have various mess options like south ,north ,andhra and kerela mess
Admission
This is top most college amaong all the nits and is even on par with several iits , besides of you are unable to get good branches in iits , choosing nit tiruchirappalli is a very good options , placements are also bery good so no problem there , have a enjoyable college life
Faculty
For every class you get 1 faculty called as proff and each proff have around 2-3 TA , they both teach us both in lab and in class. The relationship between both faculties and TA witj students are very good , they help us in both private and professional ways.
Night Life
We have several spots inside college where we can spend time . First one is the stone bench which is a couple spot spend as much time as you want with you cherished one without any disturbance. Then for food you also have many night canteens many dhaba are also present near college so you can visit them without any problem. You also have CCD there which again is place to hangout with and a couple spot
