Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is very good . But there is a lack of modern technology to improve they have to develop coding culture of college and if I say about the frequency and timings of exam it's fixed as per time table and the exam is easy and good scoring

Turtil, startup universe and many offer internship with stipend. There many ongoing projects in the university there is official organisation for handling it. Name - ACIC Giet University and also they provide funding to startup

Placement Experience

From 6th semester Onwards students eligible for placements Tata Motors, Accenture, Mind 360 many companies visited and offer more than 2000 jobs . Highest package is 29 lpa Average is 4.5lpa 96% students get placement more in startups companies Doing mtech after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

191000 only for cse and it's SPECIALISATION But for other branches it is only 105000 and hostel fees remain same . Hostel quality is average no scholarship given.Registration fees include 3500 extra. Not have any reservation for SC and ST

Campus Life

Shrujan and Avyakat are the technical festivals which held in a huge way. All the books are available in library. Provided a projecter and proper bench systems Sports campus is also good . There are various clubs such as Innotech, SARs , webeye , cybersecurity club and many more

Hostel Facilities

Good quality room for 1st year students Meal quality is average. Registration process is quite easy and affordable There is easily available a PG and rented room and also college provide bus facility for the door step

Admission

I have applied to SIT bbsr and Iter bbsr but due to their heavy fees I don't take admission there . Yes I get rejection in Sit bbsr . Admission process is very easy you have secured 45% total in your 12th exam and appear engineering exam or GIETEE their own entrance exam.

Faculty

Course Curriculum is good . Faculty are well professionals and their bond with teachers are good but you have to maintain dignity. It is very rare to fail in giet of you get fail you get 2nd chance in the same year it self

Night Life

There is good gym, and a cool parlour in the campus with market complex inside the campus and public area is closeing in 10pm Hostel timings for student is they have to enter campus by 8 pm in the evening m Hangout place in campus is cool parlour and GPS and in the temple And outside there is a mountain

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

According to recent placement statistics, the highest package offered at the college is around ?9.2 LPA, while the average package is about ?4–4.5 LPA. In the 2024 placement session, about 682 students were placed out of 803 graduating students, which shows a strong placement performance. The median salary for many programs is around ?6.5 LPA.

ITER Journey

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
