Course Curriculum Overview
More focus on practical knowledge can be given as theoretical knowledge is completely different to what we see in real life. Exam structure is good as one is having exams in different form like mid term 1, 2, end term and class test.
Placement Experience
Talking about internship, our college doesn't provide internship to students instead the students themselves have to find suitable company where they can perform training. Placement varies from branch to branch maximum placement happen in CS, IT branch (90-95%). Other branch get.20-25% placement.
College Events
Some of the events that are celebrated in our college are. Sphurti - it's a sports event where you can take part in sports like. Basketball, badminton, table tennis, futsal, etc Youthoapia- fest where famous artist are invited in the college to perform. It is a 5 day event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee of the college is expensive it becomes less for a Uttarakhand citizen. Still for one semester one has to pay around 80000. Students falling under all india category pay more than that. Also hostel are available at a price of 120000 for 10 months. Adding the transportation costs if you not staying in hostel. 21000 for 10 months.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided to the students who got good marks in their 12th standard and is continued only when the student perform well in semester exams. As a part of scholarship program some amounts of tution fee from semester fee get eliminated.
Campus Life
There are different groups formed by the students like personality development group, literature group etc which helps in improving the personality of an individual. In sports one can represent college in football, basketball, table tennis etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are really helpful you can talk to them any time. They are always helpful in giving you tips and suggestions whether it related to your academics or any personal problem. It is also because there is no ragging in the college., so there is always a friendly atmosphere.
Admission
Admission are done on the basis of percentage acquired in 12th standard. Higher will be your marks more are the chances of getting your desired branch. Students are listed in different branch and in different sections according to their marks.
Faculty
Among the faculty members 30% are good and have a good knowledge about their respective subjects. Other than that most of them are friendly in nature and are always present to solve your doubt, they always play a role of guide.
