What Students Say

Likes

Our infrastructure is really impressive and being updates constantly
Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and experienced
The girl boy ratio is normal and the engagement with campus life is great

Dislikes

The Management is really slow and causes troubles with timetable
Number of students are way too much, sometimes they don’t even have classrooms available to teach
Timetable is never made properly, many people have break for about 4 hours between classes

Course Curriculum Overview

It is average, they have started active learning classes which are good but there are some subjects they add every semester which are usually useless tho those are supposed to known to us but they are basic stuff learend at schools and not needed to be taught in clg

Internships Opportunities

In our course they do not provide any internships but we do get a few chances for clinical posting during our course, though various companies are connected with our clg for other courses like btech mainly

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees including exam fees is 75 thousand per year and it increases every year for new admissions, fees of all the courses vary. Scholarships are available for students who get more then 9.3 cgpa, and bonfied loans are also available

Campus Life

Many fests and events takes place in our university every year for all of the students to engage in. There are also more than 20 clubs which can be chosen by the students according to thier interests.

Admission

I choose this colllege because it was the only private college having my course with the least amount of fee to paid in comparison of other private universities and it also offers a really good social exposure

Faculty

Most of the facutlies are really good and experienced and they are also ready to help the students but some faculties can be really rude and use abusive language with students when they are angry. The senior faculties are mostly helpful whereas the assisstant faculties are usually rude

Night Life

Our campus does not have girls hostel on campus as the area of our university is not much safe for girls specially at night, though there is boys Hotel and we have cafeteria where they can buy stuff but overall the locality is not safe for anyone to roam around specially at night

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum is quite similar to the field I always wanted to be in that is a medical practitioner. Helping people recover feels different. The theoretical classes are quite decent, with projectors and presentations for proper learning experience. And the practical classes are also fine as there is an OPD for practice and better learning experience. There are patients who visit the OPD and we are asked to give the treatment to the patient under their surveillance. However if there was a hospital in the campus it would have been better. Areas for improvement: first would definitely be a Hospital. Very much needed and alsp hospital visits should be frequent. Practicals can also be improved. The frequency of exams is decent. Mid terms and End terms along with Two IAs (internal assessments). However the timing is not very good. Sometimes there is no gap between exams which is obviously a minus point. Also the eligibility criteria always goes down. Not enough classes taken.

Galgotias University: the future of knowledge

I applied to other colleges like Sharda and Jaypee but ended up choosing Galgotias. The reason behind this is, that Galgotias offers a vast platform for creative learning and the diversity in the university makes you fit in. If compared to other colleges, it is much more affordable and offers you a lot more than the others.
