Remarks

The college atmosphere is not good and so the students are suppose to do more efforts in every field. The library facility is very good. Overall it is a challenge to be there.

Entrance Preview

I took MP-PET(pre engineering test) and scored 88. I opted this college- 1) because of the course it offers, i.e., Chemical Engineering; 2) It is a government college.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum is really good, it includes all those necessary subjects that a chemical engineer needs to understand. The syllabus is not that vast, but it is sufficient.

Internships Opportunities

Not even a single reputed company came. To study in this college, a student himself has to manage the internship. And one more you can't even think about stipend.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no placements. No company visit for placement. Students have to find jobs by themselves. Only your passed-out seniors can provide you job opportunities.

College Events

1

College itself does not organize any technical event, but interested students participate in many technical events outside the college, wherever they get opportunities. There is an annual cultural fest organized by the students with departmental support. In this fest students take part and even the students who are not from this college can also take part.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is a government institute, The fee structure is feasible. As compare to any private institute, this institute has very affordable fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

SC, ST, OBC(NC) and other students with BPL get scholarships. These students can complete their education with no fee. Students can also take loan.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is really bad. There is an atmosphere of politics between students. As Gwalior area is Chambal area, so you can easily figure out many offensive thing at the campus. I can only say, It is not easy to survive in the campus. There are more boys students, girls are very few. Labs are not facilitated. Many workshops are organized at time. There is a different department of sports in the university.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel are quite fine and one can easily manage. Hostels are provided with wifi facility and there are sufficient space for other activities. There are plenty of greenery. But the mess food is not that good, it is just okay.

Alumni/Alumna

Although the Institute is not that good, but still the passed-out students are doing very well. They are in good positions in reputed sectors. Senior students support their juniors in all manner. Senior-junior relationship is really good.

Exam Structure

Exam Structure is not impressive. Most of the times the exam schedule lags behind the due date. Students have to struggle hard, so that examination can take place in time. Students have to contact the director frequently for examination and then for resul

Faculty

1.5

Although it is a government college but still there is no permanent faculty. All a student need to do is self study if he wants to study. Although there are some guest faculties, most of them are the ex-students this college, but they are not able to teac

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.
