Dislikes
- The CSE department at IIMT is quite strong.
- Faculty members genuinely care about student growth, and we get regular
- Sometimes announcements are last minute, but it hasn’t affected academics. The gender ratio is about 1:4 — not bad for an engineering course.
Course Curriculum Overview
DSA, and also includes trending topics like Python and web development. It’s mostly based on AKTU guidelines, so it’s a bit theoretical, but the college adds extra training like coding sessions and workshops to make it more practical.
Fees and Financial Aid
I’m pursuing AI at IIMT and the total course fee is around ?5.4 to ?5.6 lakhs for four years. Each year it’s about ?1.3–1.4 lakhs. They also offer scholarships based on UP govt norms and academic performance. The fee structure doesn’t see any l changes every year for already enrolled students.
Campus Life
The social side of IIMT is quite engaging. Fest days and club activities break the study routine. I joined the tech club and we even organized a mini-hackathon. The campus is well-maintained with proper labs, seminar halls, and Wi-Fi zones. The hostel is decent, though food could be better at times.
Admission
My first preference was a government college, but my rank wasn’t enough. I chose IIMT because of its AI curriculum, modern labs, and a better learning environment compared to the other private colleges I saw. Also, the fee structure was reasonable. Admission was through a simple process — I applied online and got a quick response from the college.
Faculty
Faculty members in the CSE department are experienced and supportive. Most of them are always ready to clear doubts and help with projects. The course structure is based on AKTU guidelines, covering core subjects, coding, and practicals. We have internal exams (sessionals) and external university exams. Marking is fair and focuses on both theory and practicals.
Night Life
here’s not much of a nightlife scene around IIMT in terms of parties, but the hostel life makes up for it. We celebrate birthdays, have late-night group talks, and sometimes order food together. For short evening outings, there are small cafes and tea points nearby. It's more about comfort than chaos.
