IIMT is it good or bad?

The b.tech in Artificial intelligence curriculum at IIMT offers a practical way of thinking about it and it helps in preparing the students for real world problem by providing assignment, projects and organized conferences to get knowledge from different people.

I have not much idea about this because I havent interacted with th 3rd year or 4th year student as they didn't live in the hostel but yes I can confirm that I have heard about this from 2nd year student that their seniors got internship opportunity from various companies like accenture, toyota and many more

I have heard from the seniors only that there is campus placement and before that students are trained for how to appear in the placement. Some the companies I have heard and saw are ACCENTURE, PAYTM,L&T and many more . It is about 70+% students who get campus placement and my plan after degree is to first get the campus placement and then working on the skill to improve.

The course fee is about 135000 for pursuing b.tech in the IIMT GROUP OF COLLEGE. This fee include the tution fee which is around 91300 , also fee for R & D is around 14000 and total sums up to 135000. The charge for non-AC room is about 125000 effective from 2025-26 session an increment of 15000 from previous session and it is applied on all. The scholarship is based on the result you get during the university exam. Also the one coming through counselling got scholarship according to their score.

There is a regular fest I didn't remember the name specifically but yes there was also a alumni meet with name MILAN . Also there is a library where there is limitations of books and it is like we can only read our course books there I haven't seen any other books other than the course books. Yes also regular sports takes place, the hostellers do play the sports in the hostel premises daily in the evening, and there various event for both e-games as well as physical games.

In the hostel room you will get a bed, fan and a cuboard, there are two seaters and three seaters room but most are two seater. In the summer you need to bring your cooler if you want to live happily in the room. For registration of hostel you first need to pay 1000 after that you need to choose the room and then pay half of the hostel fees to make it confirm .

I heard of this college from my relatives and they talks positive about it. Also when I first visited it I talk to the seniors they told me the placement is good and teacher are helpful. One can take admission in the college through counselling of AKTU and also direct. On coming through counselling you will get deduction in the fee and no deduction when one took admission on his/her own.

The teacher to student ratio is about 1:40 which is a good thing for me. The faculty whom I liked as there teaching skills were outstanding in 1st semester, like Vandana ma'am who teaches us the chemistry makes us to understand the things very easily. There are exams like sessional which held twice in a semester which includes sometimes a chapter or sometimes 3 chapters are asked from each. The other exam is PUT which held just before the semester exam which cover whole syllabus

No I took the direct admission there was no interview or any such type of things takes place during my admission proces. Yes some of my friend were asked some questions which were ultimately a decisive for their branch.

For going outside the college campus you need to get a pass made by the warden after 5pm. In the campus the boys hostel open till 10pm and girls hostel closes first at 6:30pm then after at 9pm. There is a gym just above the canteen area. It has two timings and different timings for seniors and juniors. The college runs 5 days a week from 9:30 to 4:30.
