Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities provided directly by the college are limited but gradually improving. The Training and Placement Cell occasionally shares internship openings, mainly from local industries, small IT companies, and startups.
Placement Experience
Placements at IIMT have been good so far company visiting for campus recruitment, Core technical roles, especially in AI, Data Science, or Cybersecurity, .but past few year college has given more focus on other field
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual tuition fee is around 1.15 lakhs, with the total B.Tech cost is close to 5 lakhs. Scholarships are available based on merit, category, and government schemes. Fees have slightly increased over the years but remain affordable compared to other private colleges. The total course fee including hostel is around 5–5.5 lakhs for four years. State and merit-based scholarships help reduce the financial burden.
Campus Life
Campus life at IIMT is enjoyable. I made friends from different states. There are clubs like the cultural club, literary club, and technical club, and they organize fun events. I enjoyed my time on campus. IIMT has students from all over India, and that gave me good exposure to different cultures. The overall campus environment is positive. I’ve made some great friends and we often take part in inter-college competitions. Our college support us for these types of events.
Hostel Facilities
I live in hostel The hostel facility at IIMT is fairly decent. Rooms are usually shared (double/triple occupancy), and the basic amenities like Wi-Fi, common rooms, mess, and laundry are available. The food is average manageable, but not something to look forward to every day.
Admission
I chose IIMT College because I had heard that the teaching quality is better than many other colleges I applied for. Some colleges had higher cutoffs and I couldn’t qualify due to my 12th marks. And IIMT offered a vibrant environment, affordable course price than other surroundings colleges
Faculty
The faculty of our college is helpful and supportive. They are available to solve our doubts beyond the class time. Our course structure is based on AKTU guidelinesTeachers at my college are approachable and experienced. They make sure we understand the concepts clearly
Night Life
College provide gym area which has advanced machine in it cricket ground entry and exits are closely monitored.Girls have to be inside the hostel by 9 pm and boys by 10. The cafeteria open at night Most students prefer relaxing in their rooms or studying after 7 pm. Though they have facilities for playing and a cafeteria.
