Campus life in SN college, Varkala

My course comes with a commerce degree which more helpful for me in the future. Our faculty will prepare us for dealing with the real world also through group discussions,and other activities. The frequency of exams are little bad. We don't get enough time to prepare, but our teachers will help us to complete everything at time.

Our college offers internship opportunities for students. Our faculty offers internship opportunities in Higlly rated hotels and companies like Udaya samudra, Leela hotel etc. The stipend is also provided for trainees. From their we can learn how to become success in our jobs.

I'm a b.com hotel management student, I have sem fee in Every sem that will be around 2000 in an year it is 4000. The other courses offered by college has no other tution fees, but we have to pay between 4000-10000 during admission time.For some eligible communities this will be around 2000-3000 only. For SC/ST Students and those who have e-grants scholarship don't want to pay the exam fees that is around 1500. Students who got admission under management quota will have to pay all these There is so many scholarships available for eligible students for supporting their studies by financial aiding.

Our college offers lot of club activities, sports,arts, courses for students who are interested in the business sector. Our college has good sports teams who are participating in interstate and university games,we have cricket, hockey,kho-kho, kabadi, badminton teams. There is socially interactive clubs like NCC, NSS also available in our college and there is many other club's like Nature club, science club, arts club. There is labs, Library, conference hall, seminar hall etc avilable in our college. The library is a huge one with lot of books for reference.

I didn't applied for other colleges because I want this course so I choosed this college over others and this college provides good faculty, so I was very happy. The admission process is simple first you have to pass your 12th board exams with minimum marks of 45% then you can apply for colleges through websites that is provided by universities for admission process from their you will get your college based on your mark in 12th boards of you have good marks you can make it to the college you wanted.

Our faculty is excellent. We got supportive teachers. They will be always there to help you with your studies and other. We will be able to get to know our teachers very closely they will be very friendly with you. There are some professors and some pg holders in our faculty they are excellent in all way. There will be one exam in each semester, probably our all students will pass.

Unfortunately our management doesn't allow any students to enter college after 6.00 pm because of some security issues that held recently.They will allow students only if there is any events and programms are conducted at night. Cafeterias and the library will close after 6.00 pm. Famous hangout places near our college are Varkala beach, Kapil beach , Varkala cliff etc.
