KCCILHE is a Knighthood College!!

BCA is often considered as a mini version of engineering and i will agree to that for some extent. Yes, our practicals sometimes are conducted alongside their's and happy to see that we both studnets work in tandem. We have workshops every month and are also allowed to participate in tech fest. So, i dont think course wise there is any issue but studies wise sometimes we lack far behind.

10 lakhs was the highest package for a BCA Student but average is 3.5 lakhs. HCL Technologies is perhaps the best conpany for us as TCS, Infosys are there but they take a very small percentage of student as HCL ensures that half the class is seen working at their Gurgaon and Pune offices as that where majority of students go.

BCA fees at KCCILHE is 42000 per semester. So, its good that we have to pay fees is part as every semester we can pay and thats the best thing to me. Scholarships are innumerable as around half the class can stand eligible for scholarships. Those who are of lower category gets centre based scholarship and students with 8.3 CGPA gets scholarships for merit.

College is around 15 acres and one building of 4 floors and surrounded by 3 sides is what our main block looks like. Adav, Namitz and Natya Scoials are some of the most prominent societies that our college has. Hackathons are regular but its our annual cultural fest Fuel which is like a Punajabi wedding loud and out of the world.

There are two boys hostel blocks at the campus and pne of them is AC hostel and other one is Non AC. I am in the AC hostel which has 100 rooms and all 2 setaer rooms with common washrooms on each floor.

I applied for IILM University and both colleges accept IPU CET scores. However, IILM is a little above ours and so i couldnt get admissions there. Our collehe though students with 85-90 percentile in CET gets admissions in BCA.

Our faculties are like next level upper class category because all are CSE experts even in a course like BCA. They are doing almost everything that a faculty can do for its students. They take classes wholeheartedly and also are available for us if we need them post classes. Abhimanyu Sir is my favourite professor as his hard voice has won all our hearts.

Our camphs is just a mile or rather less than that from Knowledge Campus metro station. We have a couple of malls close to campus and probably everything is available at our campus be it fast food or dinner. In time for hostel is such that movies and all are not possible for us.
