- The NSS unit of SSIPMT is very reputed and Is upto the name they've made.
- The teachers are very helpful with filing patents and side projects.
- Various placement conclaves and project works are been held.
Dislikes
- The Strictness about attendence and the Benefit of attendence system.
- The benefit of attendence is very difficult to file and extracurriculars should be credited with attendence
- The timing of the college has been increased by 1 hr 10 minutes which was completely unnecessary.
Course Curriculum Overview
The campus design is very plane except the new block for first sem students.That is an area the college should definately look into also the room numbers in the first block are very confusing the college should really look into that
Internships Opportunities
The internships average about 5000-7000 stipend however you can get stunning 10 to 12 lacs type and if you work hard enough on your resume and portfolio and project work as well. The placement start at 6 semester with average about 6 lakhs for student
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for internships after 4th sem and by 6th sem they are eligible for placements. Google,z plus,nvidia,Intel are some of the popular companies who have taken students from SSIPMT RAIPUR
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee I paid is 84000(42000+42000) per semester. The various other fee I had to pay was Registration fee-5000 Enrollment fee-1200 Exam fee-1720 Some of my friends do recieve scholarships based on PET score and reservation which makes their fee comparatively less
Campus Life
The Annual cultural event is called Agrasita and is held on three days with various different events like music sports technical etc etc. Almost all the engineering books are available in the library altho I still look for diary of the wimpy kid????. No sports isn't very good Student run groups don't last long and aren't taken seriously
Admission
I was accepted in almost all the colleges I applied for but i didn't go there due to a family emergency and also the fee structure. This college provides me with the value for my money and the placements are also very good compared to the other colleges I applied for
Faculty
1:10 is the faculty to student ratio.Some faculty members are very open-minded and are pretty approachable altho some are very strick about you approaching them. Neeraj sir taught us FOC and he had a very subtle way of explaining concepts which I really like. There are 3 exams in total two internal of 40 marks and one end semester exams (I call it the final boss) of 100 marks and oh boy they are difficult
Night Life
Nightlife isn't great in the campus. Gym is purely for hostlers no day scholars are allowed Canteen is avarage with some good tasting food Hostlers have a strict outing timing of 3:20-8 for boys and till 7 for girls . No hangout place is available except the library
