The great life of karunya

there are many specifities in my course curriculum which is relevant and which can be made to relate to my profession. it can be suggested to be more hands on the frequency of exam is definitely high having said that this is an engineering department and exams are moderately difficult

the placements in my college is moderate and would vary from department to department. for biotech mainly, there are fairly less number of placements. i believe it is due to the covid affect where many companies departed from college connection

My course fee is about 3 lahks 20 thousand, it is increasing very much as years pass as it was much less when my seniors joined. other departments who are of engineering also face the same issue where the fee is high.

the annual and technical festivals are limited and mainly overpriced there is a wide variety of access in resources of books and journals since they caught links with numerous publishers for students to access free

the facilites in the hostel are very good compared to other colleges and is a very safe environment the food could be told very comforting compared to other colleges we have laundry facilities and the rooms are in goo condition

i applied to this college mainly because of the syllabus that they provided being very relatable and one of the best institutes for having btech in biotech.i did my set of research and found about karunya

the students ratio is definetly higher than faculty. the student faculty relationship is good they are indeed approachable to ask queries. in my opinion, the best faculties would be Dr. Muthukumar ,DR. Jibbu thomas,Dr. Ridling Marget Waller because all of them teach beyond the syllabus give us beautiful insights of their subjects they are handling and loves to show their love for the subject they most love taking for students. there are about 7 to 12 examinations including labs depending on semesters, I would say odd semesters are easy to handle and even semesters are fairly difficult. there are a handful of students who fail to clear the exms and the course curriculum is very much updated to the profession it is part of as it is revised with a group of professors,board members and even alumini members every year to update it. they include speacilisation which is higher end compared to many other universities

there is a good nightlife in my campus personally as a hostel student we are provided 40 to 45 mins outside our blocks after 10 30 to eat supper and walk out so it is a good thing, we have access for receiving food and parcel from out
