College is located in a very good place..
The professors of the college are very supportive and of friendly nature .
The college provide a separate room for girls to sit when there is not lecture

Dislikes

There is no proper sitting arrangement for the boys for their free period
Drinking water supply is short during the summers.
There is no electricity backup in the college during summers light cutout stays for 1-2 hours ..

Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of arts is a course which includes various types of subjects and enhance the understanding of a student. The timinga between lectures is too long. We have to wait for 3 hours for a lecture.By NEP four subjects are also added in B.A.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 5200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year of B.A our yearly fees was 5228. Then in the third sem it was 4438. In first year the fees of bus pass for students was taken as per the distance. In the next year that fees is reduced to 0. The college give opportunity to EWS students to earn side by side while they are studying under the scheme of 'Earn while you learn

Campus Life

College Organize various festivals and events once in every year .. and also organise some function in auditorium every year for new students.. different types of books related to study and novel and magazines are available in the college library

Admission

I've applied for only this college for different courses like ba , bca ...This college is near to my house and imthe fees of the courses in this college as compared to another college is very less.. in this college there is a different cutoff for various courses whoever meet with this criteria is asked for document verification...

Faculty

The faculty members of the college are very good in nature and also very supportive with students.. some faculty members - taruna mam, naresh Sachdeva and others are some better teacher.. after the application of nep 2020 the total subject in ba is increased upto 8 ..

Night Life

In NSS 7 day camp students stay in college for seven days and also stay here all night during camp. Cafeteria of the college is very expensive. Students can get sports equipment like badminton, volleyball to play

JGU is delightful place!!

Placement Experience:

Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

A well developed basketball court is being provided by the college so that boys and girls can freely and actively play and refresh their minds.It is a huge court .Students love to play here as it is the most fascinating sport.Boys and girls are given equal privileges in respect to the court.

Backup plan

As I already tell in previous question that my plan was to go abroad it was just my backup plan. But I chose this college for its affordablity and it's affiliation by kuk University. No I didn't get rejected from other colleges. Admission process: Fill the registration form on the online haryana education website. (100rs) Wait for the merit list.
