What Students Say

Likes

The college have good infrastructure and many workshops for all the engineering branches.
The college give you opportunity to showcase yourself.
The faculty of IT branch is supportive and guide the students for their future.

Dislikes

The college have very small campus and very less number of hostel.
You are not allowed to stay in college after 5 PM of you are day scholar.
The gender ratio of this college is also not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

As the VLSI is getting in demand now a days and there is more chances in increasing the demand of Electronics in coming years ago I choose Electronics and Communication Engineering to get more opportunity in future.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is internship opportunities but not for all the students. If you want internship then you have to go make projects and focus on yours dream company and you can apply for that company internship by yourself.

Placement Experience

The college placement in comparison to other colleges in UPTU is good. The average package of CSE branch is around 7LPA and for other branches is around 5 LPA . The college has a good percentage on campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing BTech degree in Electronics and Communication and total course fee is 600000 including registration fee, tution fee and lab fee but excluding hostel. It is same for all the category, there is no concession in fee on the basis of category. The UP government provide the scholarships to only UP domicile candidates.

Campus Life

As my experience campus life is average like don't expect good campus life from this college. This college has very strict rules for their day scholar students. There is many technical and non technical clubs in this college.

Admission

Actually my JEE mains percentiyis not so good so I and I applied for UPTU counselling and get this college. This college has good average package than other colleges in UPTU. This college provide many opportunities to their students in comparison to other colleges.

Faculty

Some of the faculty of this college is good but some of them not invest their time in their class and students. The faculty of IT branch is good as they are supportive. There are three exams in a semester including two mid sem and one end sem.

Night Life

There is no permission for day scholar students to enter college after 5 PM . Only hosteler can hangout in campus and there is one cafeteria and one Nescafe in our college. There is one gym for all boys and girls and one library.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Inside Out of KIET

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More
