Course Curriculum Overview

4

Medical degree is very complicative and a hard degree to pursue. It all comes down to personal preference. I chose this course because I'm very much interested in this degree and I like human science. This curriculum prepares you for real world applications as this prepares you for all the challenges and obstacles which may come in the future. The exams being conducted in this degree are very challenging and difficultive too. Hence the more you prepare the more you are ready for the real world challenges.

Internships Opportunities

1

Internship is done in our college itself. You cannot go anywhere else to do it. You can go once you finish your degree in this college but you can't when you're still a part of this college. The stipend offered in my college is also pretty low compared to other colleges. It's lower than the government required minimum amount but apparently they don't care as it's a private college.

Placement Experience

3

I don't know how placements work in medical field. We get one year of internship done in our college and it's hospital. Once you finish your degree you can either pursue as a doctor with an mbbs degree or you can continue your studies and start your post graduation degree and then start earning or some people even do super speciality after finishing post graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Usually the fee structure is divided into two: college tuition fee and lab fee. If you opt for hostel then you can add or pay for that and if you opt for college bus services then you can pay for that. Usually they make you pay the second year lab fee during the previous year itself.

Campus Life

1

To be honest, the campus life available in our college isn't that great as we don't have any events happening or taking place in our college. We only get one fest during one whole year which is a freshers party for the new batch which enters our college every year. That's the only event which takes place in our college. The books available in our library is pretty vast. It consists of local Indian author books and they also offer books from international authors which are pretty famous across the world. But you are supposed to return them by the same day and cannot have it with you outside. You can only use it inside the library. Can't take them home with you. Technological provisions in the lecture halls is alright. You have one projector and two black boards to write. When it comes to sports and other extracurricular activities, it's very bad. We have very worn down sports grounds and we don't get any time to play. We don't even have permission to play as they're more focused on studies than the entertainment part of life that's it. Student run groups or social groups or clubs or student portals are non existent in this college. Studies is the main and only preference in this college. Student life is near zero in this college.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel is very very very bad in our college. You pay a fortune to get bare minimum accommodation. Currently the fees for a double sharing room is 1,85,000/- rupees which is non-AC. It's very small where things hardly fit. Two beds and two study rooms fill up the room. No more space to move around either. Because of such small real estate in rooms and high payments, people have decided to rent a room outside the college in private apartments and stay there as the rent outside is pretty cheap compared to our hostel fees and you get freedom where you can go anywhere unlike hostel where you need permission for everything. The canteen or mess where you eat food as a hosteller is pretty bad too. I myself had a pretty bad experience and seeing insects in the food items is pretty normal. The food quality is bad. Registration is easy for hostel as there's hardly any rooms taken in the hostel due to their insane pricing. And when it comes to affordability, it's very costly. You're paying way too high for things you get.

Admission

This college is actually good when it comes to this degree. It might be strict but the academic experience is very good. I applied to other colleges around my city and have gotten acceptance but after comparing I've chosen this college. This college has a pretty good real estate and is very comfortable. The air around it is fresh as it's located in the outskirts of my city. I did get rejected from other colleges I applied to as my score in the entrance examination didnt reach their requirements. The admission process in my college is pretty simple. Your NEET score is required to apply to this college. Cutoffs changes every year according to the seats available and the scores scored across the country and the amount of students who write or attempt the examination.

Faculty

3

The faculty in the college is pretty great. There's ample amount of professors, assistant professors and other helpers for each department in the college. Even in the hospital there's many people for helping. Most of the faculty members are friendly and are very approachable. My favourite faculty would be the physiology department from first year of my mbbs. They are very friendly and humble and are always here to help out when you're in need. The exam structure in our college has exams on every weekend aka Saturday. The portion finished from Monday to Friday are hosted on Saturday. Then you have two internal examinations and one pre final examination and one final examination which the university hosts. It is pretty common for people to fail the examinations in mbbs if you're not careful about your studies. In general mbbs is a very competitive degree so you should be careful and very studious to pass examinations conducted in this degree. Every day studying plays a major role in passing examinations.

Night Life

1

You don't have college life only how will you have nightlife lmao. If you stay in hostel it's torture. You need permission from your parents aka your parents need to call your warden to let you out for even a haircut lmao. There's nothing in the college related to student life. No gym, no proper cafeteria no public area or anything like that. Hostel is like a jail. They close off gates by 8:30-09-00pm. There's no hangout spots inside the college as it's very strict. If you get caught hanging around any place during college hours or after, you get taken to the principals office and you may get suspended for a week for bunking classes and all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is PRETTY big. Its really big, actually. Sometimes its hard to handle, because of its bulk, some of it is relevant some of it is not, in the clinical applications but you have to study that to jncrease your knowledge, while the exams are focused on a few important topics out of the curriculum, thoee topics are meant to be focused on, more as they carry more clinical importance than the others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.
