Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our curriculum is CBME. That is competency based medical education . It concentrates on student actively involving in the activities such as Group discussions, seminars, self directed learning, projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

First thing about my college is it's cleanliness and the nature. It's filled with trees. And the infrastructure in our college is quite good. The faculty is good I can't say it's perfect obviously everyone teaches from powerpoint and that is not quite effective in my opinion. All the lab equipment is actually really really good, and they let us use in whenever we request. The best thing is the hospital which is really neat and seniors help us in treating the patient and guide us throughout our journey of Mbbs. Though there's ragging in the first year, but ofcourse there's no medical College without ragging right? Overall it's a great college to complete the course but I cannot say it's perfect coz there isn't much concern about sports in this college. We have no support from staff or principal all depends on your personal interest. I would recommend this college for a good practice and study but not for sports.

Campus Life

4

Annually our college conducts a major event known Colleague day Which Lasts for one month including all the sports, culturals, cosplays, prom nights, prize distribution. There are other minor events held suchs as freshers nd convocation.

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms in the hostel are neat well painted for every 3 years, the Washrooms are public there's no private washrooms and they are cleaned once in a two days .The rooms are big enough to accommodate three people which you can live alone in the final years. As it is a government hostel the rent is quite low compared to the private ones . It's approx 600 per month

Admission

I applied for other medical colleges such as Andhra medical College,Rangaraya medical College and Guntur medical College. I wasn't selected in these due to lack of marks scored in my Neet UG . Once the priority list is set it cannot be changed again so according to my list this is the college I got based on my priority list

Faculty

4

The faculty to student is up to the mark. Every 10 student gets a mentor and they monitor the students caring about their academics and common problems. There are some faculties which are really Strict especially Pharmacology, Physiology,PSM remaining are really supportive. The exams are once a month and ofcourse they are hard. Without proper study and schedule there no scope of passing

Night Life

5

Night life in our hostel is quite good. Noone stops or asks whenever we go out from hostel . We could say the students private life is undisturbed. There's no permit pass or time restrictions for boys hostel but for girls hostel the time limit is 9 PM

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

1. First of all the joy to treat and cure a patient is irreplacable with any other branch. 2. You get to see real time patients all the way since 2nd year itself and understand how everything works in real time. 3.The exams have a gap of around 3 months and are moderate to difficult. 4. A more integrative teaching is needed.
