Remarks

College could focus more on the faculties rather than recruiting the freshly passed engineers they should look for experienced professors who could guide ths students or I would say to be engineers more efficiently.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for UPTU entrance exam and I got 12000 rank. I opted for the college because of it's good reputation and placement record. I chose Electrical and Electronics Engineering as other courses were not available for my score.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculam is good as per University standards

Internships Opportunities

Some of the companies that visited the campus were TCS, Infosys, HCL, etc and around 30% of the students got recruited. Package varied depending on company from 2 lac per annum to 3.5 lac per annum.

Placement Experience

3

Placement as stated above is ok, not too good. Training and Placement department should look for more options.

College Events

3

College festival was named CEREBRUM and college used to invest a good amount on the same. Celebrities used to come during annual event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostels were ok, fees a bit more considering the hostel rooms, food worst. Hostel 3.5/5Fees 2.5/5Food 1/5

Fees and Financial Aid

I took up the education loan from a nationalised bank. Scholarship was available for studens whose annual family income was less than 2 lac per annum(not sure about the exact annual income)

Campus Life

4

Campus life was good and there was a good gender ratio. Around 40:60 girls:boys ratio. Workshops were well equipped. No discrimination was there on the basis of caste, gender, religion, etc. Overall it was a very good experience.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostels were ok, fees a bit more considering the hostel rooms, food worst. Hostel 3.5/5, Fees 2.5/5 and Food 1/5

Alumni/Alumna

I would rate the alumni network 2 out of 5 as there is very less contact between me and my college. Main reason is due to less alumni meet which I have only heard once in the last 4 years.

Faculty

3

Faculty is average comparing with other better college. Stress is given on practical knowledge rather than totally depending on theoretical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I have seen greater opportunities in this field of biotechnology abroad. Faculty to student ratio is about 1:25. Pictures of BEL qualified from top universities and their teaching methodology or really awesome day teach every concept from the starting to the endpoint. Sessional exams are done thrice in a semester and semester end semester exams are quite easy to pass if you regularly attend the class.
