Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as there was a huge demand for management trainees and employees in India during 2009 period. MBA is a course which provided me a good job in Icici bank through campus placement. The curriculum is designed in such a way that even the weakest students get through the placement exams and interviews.
Internships Opportunities
The college offered the 2009 batch for intership in Reliance retail ltd. Tata Croma Edelwiess HDFC and Angel broking ltd. I joined the intership program offered by reliance retail ltd. Management students also had to prepare projects to be submitted in the final semester. I prepared a project on waste management.
Placement Experience
The final semester students are allowed to appear in campus placement drives with the help of the training and placement department. The highest package was secured by a friend was 6 lac per annum in HDFC bank ltd. The college have a history of placing 100% students in good companies. Students are always advised not settle for less instead the placement head of the college always support the out going students in future employement needs also.
Fees and Financial Aid
College management have a clear vision of providing best education in reasonable fees. The AEC also have various scholarship programmes for management students of SC ST and EWS groups. Meritorious students are rewarded with fee discounts and shcholarship rewards.
Campus Life
The college has its own auditorium for cultural fests and annual programs like foundation day celebration and annual cultural festival etc. At AEC the management provides full support for extra curricular activies like inter departmental aports and educational competitions. Students also run social groups like ANANDIANS and UP80 group under which students participate in various activities like organising blood donation camp and awareness activities for the people.
Admission
I applied for Jaipuria college of Noida but i did nt get through the selection process. AEC provided me an opportunity to pass the entrance exam and get admission after a personal interview and GD. The eligibility to get admissikn in MBA is graduation in any field with a minimum of 50% marks. The college is one of the first to provide management degree courses inAgra. The overall experience at AEC was excellent.
Faculty
The faculty of management studies provides all type of necessary training and personality development classes apart from the regular management studies. During the semester exams the college provides free transportation service to its students. The curriculum is well organised and all the students have full access to participate in cultural and sorts competitions.
Interview Experience
During my admission process i had to go through a group discussion over the topic Indian economy and Education system in India. There was a written exam for the admission which included general knowledge paper and some psychometric tests like word associatikn test and thematic appreciation test. I prepared for the tests from various books available to prepare for the exam.
Night Life
The college has its own sports stadium for outdoor and indoor games like football basketball badminton and cricket. The hostels in the college have a common gym and library which is accesible to the hostellers. There are beautiful places like keetham lake and Sikandra tomb located at a 8 km diatance from the college. Apart from the facilities in the campus students are allowed to go out in permissible timings for recreation.
