My journey with SRM

The ECE department is highly linked with maths you should be good at it for excelling in this department. I was good at maths so i took ECE . The curriculum is somewhat outdated and you have to study every thing by yourself gor real life jobs.the course should be made industry based and as the requirement. But they teach us things which are outdated. The difficulty of the examination is moderate you can pass by studying 5 day before exam

During 2020 they had fees of 250000 for ece department and they keep on increasing it by approximately 50000. There is a scholarship through SRM jee which can give you 50 to 100% scholarship,but you need to maintain good gpa to keep availing the scholarship every year

We have enough souces like outdoor and indoor sports ground. We have many clubs and all the clubs function in very efficient and smooth way through the selected convener. I think for personal development SRM provides the one of the best environments.the classrooms are quite basic with a digital board. But the labs are quite awasome and engaging. We even have 1 full floor lab of mac books. And all other labs classrooms and toilets are maintained well. The library of the srm is of 4 floors which is one of the biggest i have ever seen. Student portals can be a headache especially during the hostel selection or choosing the elective sunjects because of huge no. Of students trying to access at the same time.

So i wanted to go to iit but unfortunately i couldn't get in it.Sobi gave srm jee and got a seat in the college. The first for admission is to give srm jee and then you have to attend the councelling and according to your ranks you get alloted to one department then you have to take addmission by submitting tc and other documents and payments of some fees like registration and one time fee. As far as private colleges are concerned i think this is one of the best in terms of personality development.

Faculty to students ratio will be 40:1 according to me the college claims much lower but thats not true.some professor's are good and they don't threaten you with attendance or internal marks and others often use this tricks to geta students going . The best faculty according to me was sandeep sir he took wireless communication for me he really didn't care about attendence and made classroom very joyful. Some teachers like murgaveni maam can be rough on students. The exam system has 3 class test and practical exam befor end sem . The 3 ct's and project contains 50% of total marks(internal marks). You can easily pass in SRK

There is no night life in the college. But around the college there are many residential buildings like abode, extensia , vgn and many more so around them there are some shops which are open throughout the night where students generally sit with friends and enjoy. There so such campus in time because the college is very diverse but at a hostel level you have to get in by 9:00 pm max after completing your dinner which is outside the hostel building . There is a free gym in the college and there are some gyms even around the college. There is no famous outlet but yes we have a big cafeteria near law building which serves wide variety of foods and also provide seating space but this gets closed by 7 pm. It is safe near the college campus but unsafe near and after railway line area.
