Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is fairly relevant with a good mix of theory and practical learning. I chose this course because of its focus on industry skills and hands-on projects. It prepares well for real-world applications, but some content could be more up-to-date.
Internships Opportunities
The college actively supports internships through its Training & Placement Cell. Students get internships from companies like: TCS ,HCL ,Wipro Stipend Range: Typically ?10,000 to ?25,000 per month, depending on the company and role.
Placement Experience
At KIET, students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. The college has a strong placement cell that brings in top recruiters every year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Byju’s, HCL, Adobe, and Amazon have visited the campus, offering a good number of jobs across technical and non-technical roles.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total year fees for all categories is same i.e. 14000 + 8000 semester fees. You can avail your scholarship through government and many other scholarships schemes . College also provide scholarship to the state toppers / board toppers .
Campus Life
Campus life is lively and well-balanced. Annual cultural fest Fresher’s Fiesta and technical fest Innovacia happen around March-April. The library offers a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources. Classrooms have smart boards and projectors for tech-enabled learning. For sports, there are cricket, football, badminton courts, and a gym. Students can join clubs like E-Cell, CSI, Cultural Club, and more — these clubs enhance skills, networking, and leadership. Overall, it’s a well-rounded campus experience.
Admission
I applied to KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad, along with JSS Noida, AKGEC Ghaziabad, and Galgotias University. Out of these, I received confirmed admissions from KIET and Galgotias. I chose KIET because of its better reputation in terms of placements, strong alumni network, and its consistent academic performance in the region. The campus infrastructure, technical clubs, and industry tie-ups also stood out compared to the others.
Faculty
Teachers are good and qualified. Student and teacher ratio is 1:20 . There are two mid semester 4 continuous assessment in and one end semester in ever semester. Paper is between is moderate to tough.
Interview Experience
Yes we have done mang groups discussion. They have separate subject for that name for all these . And they run some extra co-curricilar activities for active participation. To make students more confident.
Night Life
Being a semi-residential campus, nightlife is calm but fun in its own way. The gym and library usually close by 8 PM, while cafeterias shut around 7:30 PM. Public areas like common rooms stay open a bit longer. Hostel Timings Hostel entry deadline is 10 PM for boys and 9:30 PM for girls. After that, movement is restricted.
