Course Curriculum Overview

3

the course curriculum is relevant with a strong theoretical foundation that influenced my decision. it prepares us well for academic pursuits but lacks practical application. improving teaching would be more beneficial

Internships Opportunities

4

my college offers internships with companies like infosys ,VIPRO ,BAJAJ finance ,Bank Etc. , job category role like software developer marketing intern and data analyst. intense work on project like app development, market research, and data analysis etc.

Placement Experience

3

Placements at my college starts from sixth semester which company is like Infosys, IT, VIPRO etc. the highest package offered is 12LPA RUPEES , and average is 6LPA around 80% of the students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for my course which starts at 18,500 Rs, covering tuition, admission , lab, development and other compulsory charges , the fees increase slightly each year reaching 20,000 rupees by the third year , reserve category students ( SC/ST ) receive fee concessions and Merit cum need scholarships are available to help reduce costs . batch mates in different categories pay accordingly with financial aid supporting those in need.

Campus Life

4

Campus like here is vibrant, with annual festivals like techfest in November, and culturalfest in March, the library has good collection of books and journals and also classrooms and well equipped with modern tech.

Admission

I choose this college over others because of its strong academic reputation excellent faculty and a curriculum that aligned with my career goals. I got admitted to other colleges also but preferred this one to focus on practical learning and carrier support

Faculty

3

the faculty to student ratio is balanced, & professors are approachable, offering personalized attention , I liked my botany professor and for the engaging teaching and availability exams are moderately difficult with most passing some students struggle

Night Life

5

The campus night life is calm , with the gym cafeterias, library closing by 9 PM hostels have a 10:30 PM curfew. popular hangout spots include student lounge and outdoor areas. nearby cafés stay open late, and the locality is safe and secure our students to roam at night.

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Reviewed on Jul 4, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.
