THE SRM STORY

I was quite intersed in Coding and i like to play and make games that is the key reason for me to choose my course. They make you quite enough ready for real-world application because they do bootcamp(coding class and test) excluding for the cousre so that you get to know more about a new programming language. There are very less hour for coding labs So they can improve there. There are quite few exam every month which make you engage for your whole semester but they aare not that diffcult to, so you can easly go through them.

Amazon, Intel,Samsung, R&d institute india, high radius and there are many more companies offered under intership with stipend. Developing a new customer realtionship management (CRM) system for retail company.

Student can apply for placement for the starting of 3rd year which is 5th semester but for intership you can get into it in 2-3rd semester itself. There are many comapany like Google, Amazon, Infosys, HCLTech, HP, Wipro, Cisco, Hindustan Unilever, IBM, Accenture, Udaan, Mu sigma and many more. The highest package is 52-54 lpa and the average is 7.50 lpa. Almost 100% placement is there. I wanted to start my own startup.

In SRM the fees structure is kind of very high in the term of tution and hostel fees, for a b.tech computer science core you have to pay around 4.75 lakh per year and hostel fees around 1.50 lakh to 2.50 lakh. Hostel fees depend on the facilities which you are going for for example AC or non AC and number of pople living in a single room (sharing). Overall including every thing like caution fees,registration fees,admission fees , it will cost you roughly around 5 lakhs INR. Computer core is the most costly in terms of tution fees, if you go in specialization like cyber-security, data base, AI and ML they will cost you around 4.25 lakh to 4.50 lakh. There are different type of scholarship available in the SRM like Defence scholarship for those whose parents are working in Defence(Air force, Army, Navy) if they maintain 8+ cgpa in every year. If you get Defence scholarship you can have a relaxation upto 1.25 every year if you full-fill the criteria of cgpa , Which is 8+ cgpa.These are some of the scholarship and fees structure of SRM.

There are many annual and technical festivials like holi and diwali, pongal, and many more south indian festitivals. There is a 3 floor libary in University building so you can acces any journals which is possible. There is a very good chance for getting into a sports that you like.There is no individuals groups which is run by student only main and big clubs are run by faculty. There is no impact on student life.

There are AC and non AC room. There attached washroom and non attached washroom to. Mess open 4 times a day. The mess food is quite good but sometimes they just make not that great. Registration and Hostel booking is online and the hostel can cost upto 1.50 lakh to 2.50 lakh.There are many PG and flats outside but nerby campus.

There are quite few college like VIT, Loyola college,Saveetha University and few more and I am in SRM. I pick this college because of Average placement and one of my senior from my school also sugested me. I just can't get into the VIT becuse of the cut-off anf for the rest of college , I was applicable. There is SRM exam is there which is conducted online and based on your result you can pick the stream or cousre you are applicable for. You should be in top 2000 students to get in Computer science core.

The faculty-to-student ratio must be 1:70. It totaly depends on you and faculty as well on your relationship. Yeah some of them are very easy to approachable and some are not.The best faculty is maths professor DR. E.Suresh almost every student like him. The Faculties I don't like is Prof. Anand M which is a PPS faculty. There 60 mark internal and the end sem is converted into 40, so in total of 100 mark. It is not that difficult to get 9+ cgpa in SRM. Last sem only 1 boy failed which also becuse of attendance.

There was GD and No interview there was test and based on the test you can get the cousre of your choice. You should be top 2000 students to get Computer science core. There was a mock test just go through that and you are ready to go.

There is hostel gym which is free and you can go for paid gym to which is very close to SRM campus. Cafeterias are good and hyginic as of now libary is very good. public area close at 9 pm , which is also boys hostel in timing. Oori boys hostel and in timing is 9 pm. JAVA is the most famous hangout places inside campus and TRS is for outside.
