The reality of AITD - Engineering college in Kanpur

The crase of computer science branch in our society and now the technology is very progressed so I decided to choose computer science branch. I am from village and my father is a former so I decided to start my jee mains preparation online. I joined physics wallah online batch si late in the month of October because I have no idea how to start preparing for clear the jee mains exam.my friend told about this so I prepared start at home . I am in 1st year and I saw in tis year mainly all techer focused on its theoretical subject but not well focused on practical subjects but according to me teachers should give equally important to theoretical and practical subjects. So students can gain actual knowledge. In my college there are 3 class test conducted by college and one external viva conducted by college. Class test conducted every two months, and in the mid session conducted internal viva. In the last of the semester one external and one semester exam conducted by AKTU LUCKNOW.

Students from 2nd year that is from 3rd semester are allowed to participate in internship. There are only fever internship opportunities. I have some of the students get very good internship. Some good company also give offers for internship such as Microsoft also as I have heard.

The college provides placement but not upto the mark. From fifth semester onwards students can participate in placement drive. The highest package offered to our college student is 1.02 crore but it is of off campus and in 2024 the highest package was 50 lakh per annum but however the highest on campus placement is 19 lpa and the average packages above 4 lakhs and minimum packages 2 lakh. Have your many students prepare here for other exams and most of them goes get good marks and go for higherstudies

The fees structure is same for all categories of students the tuition fees for all the years is 60000 and security charges for first year is 11000 and for respective years it is 10500 per year . Security money is deposited at the time of admission which is 5000. The examination fees for every year is 7500 rs. So for first year Total fees 78500+ security charge (7500) refundable And for second, third, and fourth year it is 78000. Majority of the students apply for UP scholarship in this college which provides scholarship of up to 60000 for general and OBB category and higher for SC ST students.

Campus life with the college is very bad there is no college like environment. The major drawback I feel here is the absence of hostel which is the major issue for the students mainly boys. Girls however get hostel inside the college campus for 2 years. Most of the students live here outside the college campus by taking printed rooms and flats as their are know how to facilities. The sports facilities in the college are okay but not that much good there is only one small ground will used for all sports such as football volleyball and cricket. However there are some student run clubs such as E-cell , GDGGoogle development groups. There are literary and technical college but many students due to lack of information to not participate in the events.

I have given JEE Mains exam and participated in UPTAC counselling in which I have field other colleges also such as I 18 Lucknow biet Jhansi and KNIT Sultanpur but I got the seat in Dr Ambedkar institute of technology for divyangjan and I got computer science and engineering branch according to my rank. Then I decided to take admission in this college as it's fees is also good and not much far away from my hometown. I have not admitted into private colleges as they are very expensive. The eligibility criteria for the college is JEE mains exam and participating in UPTAC counselling in which along with this college you can participate in more than 700 colleges and you get your seat according to your rank.

There are various faculties present of which majority are good , helpful and well qualified professionals and have very good teaching styles but some are rude and aggressive but it's okay. Some faculties that I like are electrical teacher Surya Prakash sir , maths teacher Vijayshree mam. For some teachers you have to prepare earlier and come to class . In some subjects you have to prepare on your own you cannot rely on your teachers they are only in their rush to complete the syllabus . Per semester there are two class test of 15 marks each which are necessary to give and one final semester exam

There is no gym and cafe and extra curricular facilities in the college. However there is one library which is good which has plenty of books and has a calm environment to study. There is one college canteen at the back side of campus. Earlier there was a canteen at the entrance but now it is closed due to some reasons which I don't know. The only hangout paste in the college is the college ground where we is sometimes sit and relax. There are some hangout basis outside the College in Kanpur and ISKCON Temple where most of the students before two hangout and relax. The night life is nothing in our college no one is allowed to enter the college after evening as all of the students live outside the college campus.
