Likes

The crowd is decent here. You'll get both some who are good in study some not so good but overall the crowd is good
The university is serious when it comes to academics. This can be a negative part for some but positive for some.
You can sit for placement in the main campus too if you have good score in semesters. It opens more opportunity.

Dislikes

The college is strict when it comes for academics. It feels sometimes you're in school.
Placement is decent. It can be improved I guess.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course designed here is old tradional. It can be improved and can be made more of skill related. I am not saying job oriented because many students now want to go for startup so it should be made in such way but it is still the old tradional course.

Some stundents get internship in 3rd year but I have heard from some seniors and I even know some who got internship 2nd year only in the starting of 2nd semester. But the college also provides internship mainly in some IT companies.

Placement Experience

The placement in our college is decent. The average is 6 lpa whereas the median is 9 lpa . The highest package offerd was 32 lpa but it can go more because the placement round is still going on for some companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee here for cse core branch is 3lakh where for other it is lower if you go for some specialization.it is lower. And the ROI is also decent for what you pay and if you put some effort you can grab some good placement. They also provide scholarship in 1st year based on the entrance test rank. It varies for campus to campus. In ktr i.e the main campus and ncr you'll have to grab a rank upto 350 to avail scholarship.and for other campus it goes higher

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is good. But as the college is strict about academics you'll sometimes feel very pressurized. You'll get assignments and projects frequently. There are ground for sports and it is overall good. You can play whatever you want to

Admission

The eligibility of the course if you have to get 60% marks in 12th in pcm aggregate. Then you'll have to give it's entrance test i.e SRMJEE. In that by the rank you scored you'll have to go for choice filling. The cutoff for cse if somewhere upto 2500 for combined campus. The one thing I didn't liked was that in the choice filling you'll get only one option for campus and course. Whereas in other colleges you get more options.

Faculty

The faculty here are decent. Some of them are very young and friendly too which helps students interacting and opening up in a better way whereas some faculty members are strict. The faculty here listen to your problems. If you keep a good bond with them you'll face no problem

Night Life

the night life in college and around the college is 0 literally 0. you need to come to hostel before 7 and you will be locked in hostel at 10.There's no night life in college. around the campus too the night life is 0. there's nothing around the college where you can go at night

Honest Review Of RGIPT

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching methods of the faculty is very good if I talk about petroleum department. Talking about the others, I've heard they are really very bad and a lot of them don't even know what they are teaching. According to me, the syllabus is very relevant to the real world applications and other examinations for further studies as well. We have mid sems about 1.5 months after starting of the semester and end sems after 1 month of it. It is suitable enough to prepare the syllabus.

My Honest Experience at ITS Engineering College

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all i don't know the curriculum before I joined this college but after entering I got to know that all aktu college have same worst curriculum. College students are only forced to focus on exams ,no real world problems ,no practical knowledge and some cases professors are only preparing students for gate neither for jobs and placement For the Computer science branches need way more improvement because they have 0 coding culture and students are still dumb upto 3rd year and 4th year Difficulty level of exams is moderate but simultaneously occuring of multiple exams in a year is worst thing I see in this college .

Placement Experience:

Student generally become aligible for campus drives from the 7th semester or 5th semester. To sit for the best companies you usually need no active backlogs and a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or above.Some top-tier companies strictly ask for 80% throughout.SRMU sees a mix of MASS RECRUITERS AND CORE companies like AMAZON, IBM, TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, ADANI GROUP, HCL AND COGNIZANT are regulars. We also see companies like SAP AND TATA STEEL for specific roles. Here AVARAGE PACKAGE is around 4.5 LPA TO 5 LPA and HIGHEST PACKAGE 30 LPA. Percentage for getting placement is 80% to 90%.My plans after getting degree is to secure a placment in a CMM level 5 company like TCS or ACCENTURE through a company drive to get that initial brand name on my resume.

Highest package is 12 Lacs per annum and lowest 1.5 lacs per annum Average package is around 5 lacs per annum. Percentage of students getting placed is around 50% from campus placements ... Many students prepare for competitive exams after course completion like GATE , UPSC ESE and CSE , RRB JE , AE JE , STATE AE JE SSC JE etc .

I appliee for Chandigarh University and Kiet and Various colleges througg cuet but i could not find my preferred course through cuet so i opted out of those. At cu i got confirmed admission but i didn't choseit as i was inclined towards Srm being affiliated to top level university. I gave srm jee 3 rd phase and i got 4000 rank but i didn't go to ktr cause of distance and more coat so i had to chose srm and i chose the nearest branch. I applied to kiet , srm (this) , vit. The reason for selecting this college is that my relatives got high package job through it and also that i couldnt cleared some college exams like vit and other top exams like jee. This college focuses on practicals, rather than just theories. There are many other courses also which are there for students for free. Trainers comes from outside of the campus for workshops. This thing makes it standout of the league. this college is good for the students who actually want to study. As compared to the other college, this is very good college in terms of skill developments and placements programs. I didn't got regected from other college. actually there were some colleges in my list that I shortlisted. this college was at the top. this college is one of the best college in this area.
