Likes

The campus looks nice with sufficient facilities
There are two canteens and with good sitting spots
There are three fests every year conducted by the college

Dislikes

The rules are very strict and it feels like school
Minimum attendance should be maintained (75%)
The campus area is very small and no free space

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure feels a a bit old but the my course covers most of the topics in my domain and but they are thought very late at the end of the course and coming to hostel the facilities are good but it lacks in food and accessibility and food is barely good sometimes

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As of 2025, the fee for B.Tech at VNR VJIET is 1,35,000 per year, holding constant in recent times. Other expenses include 10,100 as a registration fee and ?8,500 as lab and library charges. Hostel charges are 1,30,000 per annum. Students who get EAMCET ranks below 10,000 get full fee reimbursement, including SC/ST students. Merit scholarships of up to 1,00,000 are offered to students scoring above 90%.

Campus Life

I pass out in 2027 and there will be three fests every conducted by the college and several events conducted by the student chapters in the college and there will events regularly and campus life is good but it could be better

Admission

I got admission in CBIT JNTU for CSE, but after detailed research and comparison, I realized that VNR VJIET was a better option. It is excellent in networking, has a robust startup culture, and a vibrant competitive coding culture.

Faculty

Our faculty is like a wide spectrum and few of them are highly professional and have alot of knowledge and few them are barely qualified and some lack the ability to explain the topics clearly and coming to exam there are too many for one semester and the difficulty level is easy to moderate

Night Life

There a gym in college and also one in hostel and there are two canteens which has varitity of food and libarary is fully equipped and there is also a digital library and the night life is not that good and hostel timmings are 10:00 pm in the night

Good college with decent placements,but overhyped.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Circuulum is not so good but need to be imporoved a lot. The circulum doesn't prepare for real world job market,need to do a lot more. Ciruculum should be improved. EHave slip tests,mid exams,sens exams.

I think from 5 semister students are eligible for the campus placement . placements are quite good this year my super senior got a package of 43 lpa out side the college and average package is also good.amazon paypal and more like 50 percent of students are getting into a average package of 6 lpa .iam very interested in college placements i need to crack it

The placements in our college are good . The average package for all batches combined is 8 lakhs . the average package for cse branches is around 10 lakhs per annum. The campus offers one more year for placements after graduation . In Our fifith year we can apply for campus placements in college . the placements training starts from 2 year itself. If i have a chance to change college defintly i will .In this college first the mindset of the founder,director should change from school pattern to college pattern and they should focus on college implementation not in students personal issues .The exams will happen after every 4 months in between 2 months internals will be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.

Detailed review of VNR VJIET

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota. I have aimed to go to NIT'S and IIT's but I could manage only to clear the JEE MAIN exam, however for the percentile I secured , In counselling I got only a tier-3 government college. But my TS EAPCET exam went really well I secured a rank of 4594,I applied for TS EAPCET counselling and preffered VNR VJIET because a lot of friends and relatives recommonded it.And also in my home state Telangana it is the one of the best colleges ..
