Remarks

college is the best for any degrees after pu.and this college stands in top 10 amongs degree colleges in karnataka.which is why i am here.and the negative remarks is college campus much be more cleanly kept mostly about the washrooms and about the water facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

i found this course to be a very unique one where students are allowed for prohects in other institutes which is ofcourse a proud thing in our department and we dont have to write a separate exam for msc which is continued as such.

Internships Opportunities

yes we do have internship after our 9 semesters.which we take up in other institute in india or else where.there is minor reserch project before taking up internship which guides us how our internship would be.

Placement Experience

5

it is all based on how we study i mean about the grades we have scored soo far for all the 10 semesters though the job opportunities are totaly based on reserch programmes.we have a vast opportunities with in karnataka

College Events

5

the most liked or most enjoyable event in college accourding to me is YUREKA ofcourse which is celebrated every year where lot and lots of talents of the students are exposed which i really appriciated a lot

Fee Structure And Facilities

i dont have any idea about the other course but in molecular biology we have scheme A as well as scheme B based on the marked scored in the entrance exam.for scheme A students the fee is comparitively low but then we do hv scolarships

Fees and Financial Aid

there is separate reservations for SC and ST and other caste students.n i dont know much about it.and students with family income less than 40k per annum also are considered eligiboe for applying for scolarship that is college fee is reduced accordingly.

Campus Life

5

dont know about the otehr labs molecular biology labs (2 in no.) have instrument nessessary dumped all together due to lack of classrooms for students.which we request to take action on it.and sports according to me is very well thought i rate 9 for 10

Hostel Facilities

3.5

the most dissapointing about the yuvaraja's college is hostel facilities and i am telling this because i am a hostel student.may be much more care and responsibilities like food, water , electricity must be improved

Alumni/Alumna

ofcourse in our course seniors are really helpful for we struggle to get notes and specially during seminars which we do every sem.seniors guide us and ask us to reffer the best notes.my knowledge abt the alumni network is nil since i dont kw wt it is.

Exam Structure

in our course exams are conducted semester wise which help us to cope up with the limited syllabus , which we dont feel soo hard to study, bt still our grades are much important for us for our further life.

Admission

i wrote an entrance exam later luckyly got selected during council held only for molecular biology on a separate day after which i waitied for the further admission process for which i had to sbmit my originals.

Faculty

5

the hod of our department is Dr N S Devaki madam.because of whom the course is managed to that great extent for so long.we also have guest faculties who come and teach in case of emergency.thought our department need much more support for the college

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
