Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is well planned and useful. It helps in jobs and studies.More tools and talks can help.Tests are fair but need better timing.it also preparesstudents for careers and higher studies, though more certifications,,and guest lectures could enhance learning.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the animation and VFX course at Saint Joseph's College of communication follows is semester based system. The semester fees 40000 and since the course consists of 6th semesters the total cost fee amounts to 2 40000 apart from semester free the college has for extra charges for text books which acts to the overall cost. While I do not stay in the hostel, students who opt for hostel facilities would have to consider additional accommodation and food expenses. The college offers scholarship but the exact amount and eligibility criteria are not clearly known it would be beneficial for prospective students to directly enquire about this scholarship details with the administration. It is important to note that the fees have increased and extra charges are sometimes levied for materials and other academic resources

Campus Life

4

Campus life is vibrant with festivals like Enliven,Melange .The library has a wide range of books and journals, easily accesible. Classrooms at well equipped with modern tech. Sports facilities are great with various indoor and outdoor options Clips like the debate club and Photography Club etc foster creativity. Student run groups like the Student Council actively contribute to the campus life.

Admission

I chose this college for better faculty campus and jobs. Other options lack facilities or placements. The admission needed eligibility, entrance tests, cutoffs. The process was smooth but competitiv. This college offered the best balance of academics and opportunities.

Faculty

5

The faculty at St Joseph College of communication is highly supportive and approachable making it easy for students to see guidance with around 50 students per class, the faculty to student ratio in shows that everyone gets adequate attention. one of the most appreciated faculty members is Anoop sir the Malayalam professor who is known for his patience and understanding nature he never scolds students unnecessary crerating acomfortable learning atmosphere fortunately there are no faculty members I dislike as all of them are professional and dedicated to their work. the animation and VFX syllabus is uniquely designed by the college ensuring it remains relevant to industry standard each semester consist of Multiple exams and while some can be challenging most students managed pass with only a few struggling to clear. the marking system is fair, rewarding consists efforts overall the combination of a well structure curriculum and dedicated faculty makes for a positive academic experience

Interview Experience

4

The admission process included a drawing test, scene making with drawing, and an interview. The drawing test assessed creativity and technique While scene making tested visual storytelling skills. Interview focused on academics, artis selection was based on artistic ability creativity and communication skills.Preparation involved practising sketching improving scene composition and refining interview responses The process was competitive but rewarding.

Night Life

4

The campus has a relaxed atmosphere after classes. The gym cafeterias and library are available till 8pm while public areas remain open for relaxation, hostels have curfews. Popular hangout spots include the student cafe, lounge areas and the ground area with tree shade and benches. Nearby local cafes and food joints also provide options The area is generally safe for students to roam around at night adding to the sense of comfort and community
