YMBC: A REVIEW

I would say the curriculum set by the university is a bit outdated but the faculty members go out of their way to teach you the current industry standard stuff and also there's add on courses each year, the faculty prepares you for real world applications more than enough. The exams are spaced adequently and history exams in the first year is the hardest among them

We have a internship period of a month during our 6th sem they don't provide intership but the time for it , we have to find intership for ourselves and we have to do the intership compulsory or marks will me deducted

Our college do provide placement opportunities at the final year of the academics I don't know correctly about the packages offered but getting the job depends upon our skills and portfolio, I would say the employability is becoming a bit lower die to the introduction of ai but skill prevails everywhere

The fees structure is 35,000 per semester, each semester lasting around 6 months that rounds it about 70,000 a year and around 2,10,000 for the whole course it also includes extra payments for programs, tours, events, all categories share the same fees, the college does not have a specific scholarship structure but government scholarships are applicable

The college does provide programs we have a annual fest called yugma, celebrations on onam Christmas and other festive days tour and iv is available then outdoor visits, I would say the sports sector is a bit weak..but we have started clubs this year so have to see about that...the campus is technologically rich with green screen rooms sound studios and equipments

We only have hostel facilities for the first year and have to find our own places for stay after the first year. The food there was top tier and very hearty . The registration process is relatively simple and price is fair to the commodities provided . We are now renting a pg at puthuppady

I chose this college cause this was one among the colleges which were good and provided the course I needed, which the time joined was scarce, I didn't get rejected from the other colleges I was late for applying and all the other were filled out

The faculty to student ratio is a bit low , but I would say the faculty are friendly and very approachable and guide you through your desired field I would say Mr sudeep would be the faculty member I liked the most . I wouldn't say there is any faculty member I didn't like. There's an internal a model and sem examinations also including various tests and submissions

Yeah we had a interview and test for the admission process they also ask for your 10th and 12th mark sheet. You take a test for measuding your artistic skills , I sketched for some time before the test to prepare for the exam
