- There is limited student in one section around 70 so that you can ask your doubt very well from any faculty
- More focused on placement training or internship
- Mess food is good as compared to other hostels.
Dislikes
- The hostel timing for first year student is,for boys 9 pm
- We have to walk more to reach classrooms because sometime more croud is there so we not be able to catch lift on time
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of srmist is updated..the curriculum of srmist prepares very well for real world applications or further academic pursuits.the frequency of exams is about nearly one months and in between you have to submit assignment also.
Internships Opportunities
There is so many internship oppertunities is available in srmist ..you have to work on your minor or major projects by your own to get the internship..the companies came for internships provides good stipend
Placement Experience
I think after 6 semester,tge students become eligible for campus placements..the top companies is also vsited here ..the average pacakage is around 8 lakh per year and the the highest is around 50 lakh per year.around 70% students got placed in campus placement
Fees and Financial Aid
Srmist ktr campus is overall good in placement .it provides so many facilities to the student according to their interests.fee structure of cse core branch is 475000 per year but for other branches,the yearly fees is low as compared to cse core branch.srmist provides so many schlorships like founder's schlorship,merit schlorship,alumini ward schlorship etc.fees may varies year to year.the faculty is very coperative..his or her behaviour with the students is good.after admission,you have to purchase your lab coat,or some dresses for the course by your own.the campus is so green.in srm,you have right to explore your college life as you want.their is not so many restrictions,only few restrictions is there.
Campus Life
There is so many books in the library .there are so many clubs like coding club etc.in srmist there is majorly two fest one is aarush tech fest and other is milan .the milan is happened in march month
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided in rooms is good..you can also your electric kettle with the permissions from warden.mess food is good .you have to book your hostels room online by using your userid or password
Admission
We have applied for others colleges also like bms it bangalore ,but due to higher fee i not take the admissions.the admission in srmist is from srmjeee exam or management quota .the srmjeee exam is not tough ,it is easier than jee mains exam
Faculty
The ratio of faculty to student is 1 faculty for 70 students.the faculty is so friendly with students.there are 3 ct exam and some assignment also for internal marks and there is semester exam for 75 marks which is converted into 40 and 60 for internal.the exams are not so difficult ,it is average if you studied something then you pass the exam easily.
Night Life
There is restriction for especially for freshers,the gate closing time for hostels is 9 pm for boys and around 6 pm for girls ..there is free or paid gym also available.if you want to eat something,then so many options are available
