Remarks

The reason I choose regarding this college is because of placements . Placement offers are very good in our college when compared to other colleges .during post covid also our college offers a very good placement track.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is same as the other colleges .Some subject will have projects every sem we have to submit the project at the end of the semester.Assignments will be given and we have to submit them on time.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided by the college .Sometimes internships by other colleges are posted in the group .so that students can apply to them.Projects are done at the end of the every semester.these projects will contain some marks.

Placement Experience

Our college has very good placement track when compared to other colleges.In Chennai our college we have best placement track .Our seniors also got placed in good companies with decent packages.our college also provides good placement offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

SRM jee exam is conducted,if we get less than 1000 rank we will get scholarship.in order continue scholarship we need to get 9 cgpa every year .or else student should pay fees according to the course they opted for .

Campus Life

Our college have more clubs .we can participate in our college clubs from first year onwards .Students can also organize and establish clubs .College provide us od so that there will be no problem for student attendance

Faculty

The faculty members in our college are very experienced and have good knowledge regarding their subject .Exams are conducted every month and called as CTS 3 CTS will be conducted per sem and end semester is conducted

Night Life

The college hostel timings are very strict.Hostel gate closes at 8.30 pm in the night . Students who want to go out must take permission from parents and hostel warden.The college is very near to the metro station so that we can go any part of the city easily.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
