Likes

Faculty , Staff , Education are very dedicative to their work , support students and make them feel comfortable with easy learning
Eco-friendly and Healthy environment with too much Greenery , lots of gardens and places for refreshing
Extra Curriculum activities are also boosts by the University management , cooperative staff and security are always there for safety purpose .

Dislikes

Outsiders were allowed into the University without any checking
Some departments lacks extra curricular activities , students has to be self invited for the participation in any acitivity
No placements and job offers companies in some departments.

Course Curriculum Overview

Genetics subject made me understand about evolution with genetic similarity and differences of us with our past or incoming generations. The inheritance pattern and a lot of functional organisation of our body made me interested into genetics .

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 13845 per year

Internships Opportunities

some careen carnival organized in the University in which student have to applied to many companies which are involved in this carnival.the atudents are advised to fill the form for carnival and prepare for the interview held according to their course

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for first year is approximately 14000/- per annum including examination fees. M.Sc. Genetics is a two year course under life sciences. The fees has to be paid in one time at the time of admission and Rs.800/- as examination fees for second semester

Campus Life

The University infrastructure is well maintained and updated every year with all essentials of a student they provide well enough club for gym , chess , swimming, sports a lot more than i got to know till now.

Hostel Facilities

There are facility for fan , bed , almirah and a study table ,5 charging points, balcony in every room with one time payment of rent for room , water and electricity. The charges for mess are paid monthly according to your diet.

Hostel Fee: INR 14580 per year

Admission

I had applied to kurukshetra University , Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak and Chaudhary Bansilal university (Bhiwani) . Where i have to give an entrance exam for admission, i got seleted but kurukshetra University is not nearby to my hometown and CBLU doesn't have that cooperative staff and enough faculty . I got 29 rank in mdu entrance so , my parents allowed me to study here.

Faculty

The Staff and Faculty are very supportive. Best in teaching skill and make you feel comfortable in case of any doubts or topic you are not able to understand. Exams include 100 your finals theory and other 100 for practicals

Night Life

The Reading room in Vivekananda library is opened 24/7 for students to study and same for boy's hostel but the maingate for girl's hostel complex close at 8:30pm . There are stationary, canteen , atm and other requirements for all of us

Going through my university.

Placement Experience:

As per the placement most replacement work done from the BTech department. And there are many companies who give their advertisement for the recruitment and they take a test in which last semester student or the student who has just fast are eligible. So placement are offered mostly in engineering department but some companies also post advertisement for many other department like BCA ,BBA ,Bsc and Msc. Highest package round 8 to 9 lakh. The average packages round 4 lakh. The percentage of student getting placement is not high but it is around 60%. I want to pursue my career in data science.

I chose MDU Rohtak because its affordable fee structure decent faculty base and recognition as a government state university. The degree has good value for higher studies and public sector opportunities that campus environment facilites like library and labs and hostel availablity also influenced by choice I had applied to a few other colleges as well , some private engineering colleges in Delhi NCR amity Galgotias i even got admission, but the fees were very high, 3-4 times more than MDU and placement was not significantly better to justify the cost...Read More

A lie in all truth

They asked about our jee entrance exam results then some pi rounds then they selected students based on their marks then they provided us some forms that we filled and got admission there . The teachers are quite helpful and friendly they support their students at their best .
