Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course was more theoritical and kess practical, a lot of things were not even useful, as things have changed way more than ever and was irrelevant in the real life. Teaching methods were traditional, adaptation of new technology is necessary for teachings as traditional methods are not useful in the new world. Accounting is a perfect example for this, traditional methods are non-preferabbke, rather tally and related softwares are used for accounting and were not taught in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total Fees was 25,000, 20% discount for those who have scored more than 75% in high school. Additional 10% scholarship was provided for those who scored good in a mock test conducted by the college itself before the admission round.

Campus Life

2

All of the festivals were celebrated in a good manner, students hosted the events within the college itself and teachers were lineant for rukes and regulations. Only course books were available in the library, and not any ither types of books. Sports and extra curricular activities were very less in the college, however students chose to involve in activities by themselves only and achieved good results.

Admission

Being a single child, my parents didn't allow me to switch city for higher studies, making it only option for me to choose this college, as the city is still under-developed, and this college was a good option considering the budget. if someone wants to prepare for competitive exams by themselves, this might be a good option as there were no restrictions for attendance and exams were easy to clear out.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio was very less, classes were overcrowded. Teachers were friendly, always there for help. Teachers helped students how to appear for exams, and how and what to write, how exams are conducted, marking scheme for each answers and everything as the teaches were invigilators themselves within the university itself, responsible for checking exam copies.

Night Life

1

No gym was there in the college, only 2 machines were there and even they were not in a working condition. No cafes in the college, we had to go far away from the college to get snacks. No public area nearby, as the college itself is in a semi-rural area. No hangout places near college. No nightlife in the college, as there are no hostels in the college and the college is in the outskirts of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects are all theoretical, don't expect practical knowledge, syllabus for many subjects is very extensive and Faculty wont even complete the syllabus. You need to study most of things on your own. They would bombard you with 3 tests for internal assessment for each subject and sometimes they take it as suprise test and sometimes even test for 2 subjects might clash on the same day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In 10th i got good percentage , but was not intereted that much in science , so i took up Commerce + Maths , then passed my 12th standard with 93% and i realized my decision was good. Then after 12th i had to do graduation so i choose B.com + Hon. As this seemed me the best option rather that BBA or any other. On an average , in my college , there were 40 - 50 students in each batch. There were different teachers for different subjects. There was not much mess and the teachers were enough to handle and teach all the students . Teachers in government colleges have years of experience , thats the reason many people get into these colleges , in my college too teachers were qualified and were ready to clear any doubt . We were having 2 semesters in the year , half - half course in both , these papers arent too difficult to pass if there was a proper study. I dont found these papers much difficult.
