Course Curriculum Overview

I am a bachelor's of fashion technology student. We deals with fabrics and we code. We are basically the techies. We can stitch you a garment or make an app for you. To join nift you should pass GAT exam provided by nift.

Class Size: 21Course Fees: INR 1300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Two mandatory intership are provided by college. One graduation project at the final year is also provided. With taht multiple industry exposure is also provided. Apart from that we can do our personal internship anywhere we want.

Placement Experience

After you completed 4 yrs you get to set in the placements. All nift campus students come together at nift delhi for the placement. Minimum package is 5 lakhs and maximum has no limit. Some students also start their own brand after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per yr the fees is around 300000 . It varies semester wise. As we move higher to the semester the fees also increases. The fee structure is same for all categories. There is a scholarship provided by the college for people in need.

Campus Life

I am absolutely enjoying my college life . We have events , compititions and various fun activities throughout the year . Faculties are good . I am having fun in learning new things, experiencing new challenges .

Hostel Facilities

The total fees structure of hostel per year is 1,08,000 /- . It is a tein sharing room . U get a fan , storage unit , ved matress and a table to study. Washroom are neat and clean . And there is a daily service of room cleaning in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 108000 per year

Admission

I always wanted nift. My AIR rank was 345 . Nift was a dream when i was little and it became my aim as i grew up. I worked hard to succeed the entrance exam and now i am second year bachelor of fashion technology student.

Faculty

Faculties members are interactive and friendly. Each student get a personal mentor. There are 2 assignment of 30 marks and 1 jury exam per semester. Jury are basically viva. Theory subjects are less. Everything is practical based.

Night Life

The locality is very safe. We have hostel for girls . Boys don't have a hostel till now. Girls hostel is inside the campus. We have access to the campus till 10 pm . After than we have to be inside the hostel. There is a dood court nearby so we also enjoy tasty foods often. Hostel mess is also great.

So our course curriculum is actually very nice In our first year they taught us about the basic fundamentals of design and gave us a rough idea about every other departments Then in 2nd year we enter to our core departments and from here things get more interesting.

KIITY life is good and decent

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after completing there 2nd year examination. There multiple textile companies Raymond, Arvind ltd, visits and more than 70% students are placed in very good companies. The package depends on the companies like 10000 - 100000

Life at NIFT Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

Mostly students opt for master degree after the college. The placement in bhubaneswar campus is good . In 2022-23, the hightest package on-campus placement was 19 Lpa and off-campus placement was 22 Lpa. Average package was about 7 Lpa . The Avind groups recruited highest no. of employees from bhubaneswar campus. From 5th semester the students become eligible for internships and 7th semester students are eligible for company placements.

Remarks:

Phenomenal journey

Remarks:

The college had a nice infrastructure along with the facilities as well the professors were so good and intellectually sound that I was able to understand the concept easily without any issue. Along with the college infrastructure and course, the structure was excellent.

One of best university in odisha

Remarks:

I like my college very much. We have student exchange program with foreign student. You can meet experts in seminar and events. They also developing our extracurricular activities so we can achieve our goal.but one thing is it is too expensive. For middle class you have to face so much expenses.overall this is the best college in odisha even in India our college is in top 10.

Life at NIFT Bhubaneswar

Entrance exam based addmission. The eligibility is 18-24 years . All the details are available in nift.ac.in website. The entrance exam is held once a year in 2 phases. The first phase is CAT (50% weightage) and GAT (30% weightage). If you pass the above combined test , you have to appear for situation test which is basically material handling (20% weightage). Life at NIFT

I had applied for Microbiology at SRM Chennai, DU, and Saraswati Vidyapeeth for the same. But I have always wanted to go for something different and my love and skills for art and travel got me landed at NIFT Bhubaneswar. I had enrolled myself in Fashion Communication because of the vast opportunities it had to offer. Fashion Communication is an integrated course of multiple courses ultimately leading up to teach us how to put up a brand and how to execute its advertising and branding so well that it excels out in the market for the public good. The first year is the mixture of all courses and all the students study together in different sections regardless of their departments. The main department course study begins in the second year. The college provides endless opportunities to grow and not just in academics but as a person and it also prepares the students for the industry they're going to work into.
