If you have a creative mind and good communication skills you are heartily welcome for the course. Fashion is a impactful line but it also contains struggle and experiences to settle yourself in the fashion field and industry

IN KIIT UNIVERSITY,BBSR per year fee-180000 First registration fee-75000 Registration and exam fee per sem-2000 Fee is same for every one It's a 4 yr course also they provide most of the stationary which we need. Faculties are friendly and helpful. They are always ready to guide us.

The annual fest know as KIIT FEST. Where many celebrities, singers,DJ come to perform here. It held in February every year Except this many cultural and society events also happens here..where everyone can participate

NIFT Bhubaneswar: "A creative hub for designers"

Likes

In first year of our college they teach us the basic fundamentals of design which is very important and appreciate that.
There are different departments and we have very interesting course structure.
I personally like the course structure and live the assignments given

Dislikes

There is no such exact thing which I dislike
Sometimes the assignments becomes a big burden
Everything is almost good here and by default designing field is a little frustrating and I think that is normal

Course Curriculum Overview:

So our course curriculum is actually very nice In our first year they taught us about the basic fundamentals of design and gave us a rough idea about every other departments Then in 2nd year we enter to our core departments and from here things get more interesting.

The infrastructure specifically classrooms
Labs have the most up to date advanced machines needed as per the course requirement.

Dislikes

Event timings are not proper. There are no particular event per month.

Placement Experience:

After you completed 4 yrs you get to set in the placements. All nift campus students come together at nift delhi for the placement. Minimum package is 5 lakhs and maximum has no limit. Some students also start their own brand after graduation.

Life at NIFT Bhubaneswar

Likes

College is very good. The knowledge it imparts is tremendous
The course of study and faculties here are good and talented
The campus is normal but during students get excited when it's time for college fest or any fashion show and

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs some development like wall graffiti, painting of building etc
Work stress is too much . Most of the time students have to overwork
Time management is the biggest issue in this campus

Placement Experience:

Mostly students opt for master degree after the college. The placement in bhubaneswar campus is good . In 2022-23, the hightest package on-campus placement was 19 Lpa and off-campus placement was 22 Lpa. Average package was about 7 Lpa . The Avind groups recruited highest no. of employees from bhubaneswar campus. From 5th semester the students become eligible for internships and 7th semester students are eligible for company placements.

Life at NIFT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the CPUs placements after their graduation projects in the 8th semester. Most of the students take Pre-placement opportunities (PPO) from the respective companies they've been doing their Graduation Projects with only and the rest are allowed to go for Placement interviews. It all depends upon the skillset they have and their portfolios. The average package goes for about 6-15 lakh per annum. 7 out of 10 students get placed every year. Most of the students go for jobs for the first 2 years and then look for masters while others do masters right after their graduation from reputed universities and then begin their career. But NIFT provides enough facilities and opportunities to explore and grow as a person as well as industry visualization.

My choice was perfect for this college

Placement Experience:

For us yet now the placement has not been decided because it's been one year of our college and it's been covid so the placements are stopped for now but it will start over the second year of our campus life where the first years are basically foundation course where we study the basics of every single design access energy is taken place so that we have to pass with flying colors and the second year is where we are being designers and train under a designer

If you're a Design aspirant, All you need to know about NIFT

Placement Experience:

Students are provided an internship programme in their final year. Based on their performance, sometimes students get jobs in their intership companies. However, at the final semester, they get a chance to sit in campus placement in NIFT campuses like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata etc. Yes students from all over the Campuses go to these particular Campuses where various companies come for placements. Brands like adidas, lifestyles,park Avenue, nike, blackberry, Monte Carlo,h&m, future group, Sabyasachi etc. visit for campus placement.The average package students got is 3-5 lakh per annum. The highest package to date is 12 lakh. 100% student placement is possible if all the students are sincere at their works. Students get placed based on their portfolios. But one must need a minimum cgpa for attending campus placement. Well, honestly I'm working hard to get placement in well known brands like h&m,Sabyasachi,Tarun Tahiliani etc. I wanted minimum of 3 years experience then I'll go for start-up
