Remarks

I really admire the college as this place gave me the best memories of my student life and I feel proud to be a student here. Apart from this, the college promotes the students to be organized and attain good opportunities in the textile sector.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was a textile designing student and at NIFT the education quality was the best I learned about physiology, nutritional food, environmental studies as well as textile science. Along with this, the subjects were interesting and the practicals were fun.

Placement Experience

In terms of placement and internship is concerned the college duly provides the students with some of the best internship opportunities in the textile industry and also helped the students to prepare for the real interview by engaging them in mock interviews.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college was briefly divided into exam fees, other fees ad tuition fees this was different every year, For instance, I spent I paid Rs 258,000/- and Rs 324,000/- and likewise in total the amount I invested was Rs 11 lakhs approximately.

Campus Life

We had hostels, as well as well maintained infrastructure. Apart from this the college also promotes some workshops and events on the subject matter. Classrooms were good and spacious with air conditioners.

Admission

I was always interested in pursuing my career as a textile designer. Hence I applied to this institute by filling up an application form that was available on the college website. And after meeting the eligibility criteria, and merit list I was able to call myself a full-time textile designing student.

At NIFT I liked all my professors they were professional towards their approach of teaching and giving us briefs about some good research on textile designing. Moreover, they were well trained and had good years of experience.

So our course curriculum is actually very nice In our first year they taught us about the basic fundamentals of design and gave us a rough idea about every other departments Then in 2nd year we enter to our core departments and from here things get more interesting.

After you completed 4 yrs you get to set in the placements. All nift campus students come together at nift delhi for the placement. Minimum package is 5 lakhs and maximum has no limit. Some students also start their own brand after graduation.

KIITY life is good and decent

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after completing there 2nd year examination. There multiple textile companies Raymond, Arvind ltd, visits and more than 70% students are placed in very good companies. The package depends on the companies like 10000 - 100000

Life at NIFT Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

Mostly students opt for master degree after the college. The placement in bhubaneswar campus is good . In 2022-23, the hightest package on-campus placement was 19 Lpa and off-campus placement was 22 Lpa. Average package was about 7 Lpa . The Avind groups recruited highest no. of employees from bhubaneswar campus. From 5th semester the students become eligible for internships and 7th semester students are eligible for company placements.

Phenomenal journey

Remarks:

The college had a nice infrastructure along with the facilities as well the professors were so good and intellectually sound that I was able to understand the concept easily without any issue. Along with the college infrastructure and course, the structure was excellent.

One of best university in odisha

Remarks:

I like my college very much. We have student exchange program with foreign student. You can meet experts in seminar and events. They also developing our extracurricular activities so we can achieve our goal.but one thing is it is too expensive. For middle class you have to face so much expenses.overall this is the best college in odisha even in India our college is in top 10.

Life at NIFT Bhubaneswar

Entrance exam based addmission. The eligibility is 18-24 years . All the details are available in nift.ac.in website. The entrance exam is held once a year in 2 phases. The first phase is CAT (50% weightage) and GAT (30% weightage). If you pass the above combined test , you have to appear for situation test which is basically material handling (20% weightage). Life at NIFT

I had applied for Microbiology at SRM Chennai, DU, and Saraswati Vidyapeeth for the same. But I have always wanted to go for something different and my love and skills for art and travel got me landed at NIFT Bhubaneswar. I had enrolled myself in Fashion Communication because of the vast opportunities it had to offer. Fashion Communication is an integrated course of multiple courses ultimately leading up to teach us how to put up a brand and how to execute its advertising and branding so well that it excels out in the market for the public good. The first year is the mixture of all courses and all the students study together in different sections regardless of their departments. The main department course study begins in the second year.
