Course Curriculum Overview
1. I choose this course because I like coding and interested in IT sector. 2. We have to do a project in our second year based real world problems which enhances our further academic pursuits. 3. The areas that need to be improved in course curriculum are practical teaching. 4. The frequency of the exams are semester, midterms, and weekly. Timing: The midterms happen in the middle of semester and final exams at the last and the exams moderately tough.
Internships Opportunities
1. The companies that offered internships are BSNL and RINL and infosys and mavens with a stipend of 5000 per month as project intern. 2. Project: Optimization of network infrastructure Outcome: Enhanced ability to work collaboratively in a technical environment.
Placement Experience
1. From third year second semester students become eligible for college placements. 2. Companies visited are Cisco, Infosys and Accenture they are combined gave around 121 offers. 3. The highest package is 36 lpa and the average package is 7 lpa and lowest package is 3-5 lpa. 4. The percentage of students got placed are 80%. 5. My plans after getting college degree is to get a high paying job in a reputable company.
Fees and Financial Aid
1. The year wise fee I pay is 57200. 2. The tution fee is 57200, caution fee is 2000, registration fees is 3000, admission fee is 3500, Development fee is 1000 and the lab fee is also 1000 and the charges for course completion varies based on categories. 3. The fee is same for all the categories but for management students it is 1,20,000. 4. Merit scholarships for students that provide financial aid by clearing the course fee.
Campus Life
1. The annual fest is Yuvtharang and the technical fest is Vista and they are held in months of January and September. 2. There are very wide range of books and journals that are available in library. 3. The facilities in the classroom like benches and fans need to be improved but technical facilities like projectors and computers are there for every classroom. 4. The sports competitions happen very often and extracurricular activities are also good. 5. Yes there are clubs and social groups like SAC and media cell etc .
Hostel Facilities
1. The facilities provided in the hostel rooms are good as there are two fans and two lights and very good . 2. Meal quality is also good and the menu varies on each day 3. First we need pay the fee and fill a registration form and have to report to the hostel warden. The fee is 90000. 4. No I didn't rent a room or PG in any locality.
Admission
1. I applied for AU University and Gayatri Vidya Parishad and vignan' s institute of information technology and I got confirmed admission form vignan college. 2. I got rejected by other colleges i applied because I didn't get the suitable rank to get admission in that colleges. 3. Eligibility: Candidates must complete tenth and intermediate with passing grade. Accepted entrance exams for B.Tech is GATE and preferred entrance exam is EAMCET. Admission cutoff vary annually based on factors like exam difficulty and seat availability
Faculty
1. The faculty to student ratio is 1:3 . And the faculty are very friendly ot approach so the relationship between the students and the faculty is good. 2. The faculty I most liked is our DBMS sir and java mam because they are very friendly towards the students . 3. The faculty I don't like is DS sir and ES sir because they are so rude to students. 4. The exams are moderately tough. Around 24% students failed to clear the exams. The course curriculum is relevant upto to such a extent.
Night Life
1. Cafeteria closing time is 6 pm and library closing time is 6:30 pm and the public area and gym is around 7 pm. 2. Hostel timings are from 6:00 am to 8:30 and campus timing are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 3. Hangout places inside the college is cafeteria and open gym and outside the college are variety of malls . The locality is not so safe to roam around at night.
