Everything about Nit Trichy

I think the curriculum for certain subjects has not been changed since a long time,there are many topics which don't have any reliance in today's world .But I think in eee,the chance is very low like till now I had courses like circuit theory,ac ,dc machines, network and linear systems-these subjects prepare the base for real worls application.Cycle tests are conducted every 1 month ,which gives enough time for the students to do extracurricular activities along with studies.

For internship, companies visit during the start of 3rd year, however we can do research internship under our proff,and there is a high chance of getting an offcampus intern because of college brand.There are projects during the academic course plan itself.

Students become eligible to sit from placement from the end of 3rd semester.The highest package was about 55lpa ,in core branches like cse,eee ,ece,ice the placement percentage is above 90%.My plan is to prepare for upsc after my degree.Google, Microsoft,Psu,Itc..

The tution fees per semester is 63,000 for a general candidate Mess and hostel fees around 46000 per year,and there is a yearly annual fees of 20000,So per year the total fees is around 2,38000 for a general candidate.For students whose family income is below 5laks , tution fees is around 20,000(other fees same).And students having family income below 1 lakh ,the tution fees is 0. There are certain scholarships provided by aluminis of our college (Recal Scholarship).

So we have around 3 major fests in our college -Festember (cultural fest) conducted around October is the biggest fest in south India.Nittfest ,which is a interdepartmental fest and then there is pragyan ,which is the technical fest .Our library contains a huge no of books from every section,academics, research papers .There is a annual sports fest called sportsfete conducted around in odd sem.There is a vast indoor sports complex, basketball courts, badminton courts, cricket ground , hockey ground ,khokho ground.

There is no requirement of pgs in nit Trichy because there are sufficient rooms to accommodate all the students,the hostel and mess fees is around 45000 per semester,there are a variety of mess which we can choose-south indian mess,north indian mess,andhra mess,kerela mess.Hostel rooms are very spacious with 3 cupboards,and table/chair for each student's

The admission criteria for getting into nit Trichy is through jee mains,it is the No 1 nit in india,so yes I wanted to go to iit but my advance rank was not that good ,that's why I got into nit Trichy

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:11.Tge faculties are very supportive, anytime you can approach them after the class if you have any doubts.Currently I am in my 4th sem,till now my favourite teacher has been raja sir who teaches ac machines,he is a genius,the only class which I have never missed a single day till now .Till now I didn't get any professors ,whom I don't like ,it's just that i might not able to understand their class,but if I approach them for any doubt they resolve our doubts .So there are 2 cycles tests of 20-20 weightage,10 marks assignment,10 marks surprise test and 40 marks endsem.

There is a gym in our campus,but it is paid and it has some fixed no of students can only go.There are a lot of cafeterias like ccd,lassi shop For first year students,there is curfew timing of 9:45 pm.Hangout places outside campus -thanjavur,thillai nagar,dmart
