The course curriculum is outstanding as it involves all the major parts of the course from basic to advance level. We have practical classes that are very useful to understand everything from that we learn a lot. Campus have there own wildlife,flora and fauna.

Fees structure for 1st year is 28000 after that for 2nd year it was 1500 and in last year it is 8000 For Self financed stream the fees structure varies for an example for the B.A Journalism fee is semester wise 44000 per semester and it get reduced according to the semester If students are willing to stay in college hostel called as Hall they can join, in campus there are 6 halls in total.3 for boys and 3 for girls yearly accomodation of hall is 44000 for girls and mess fees is not included it varies according to your choice.

Our college have a lot of annual and technical festivals going through out the year such as inter and intra sports,Aurora for women's students, departmental competitions. Deepwoods our major college fest,faculty sports,NCC,NSS and scrub society works and competition and campus walk,late night bird watch etc. This campus provides lot of exposure in every field starting from singing to academics etc We have gutter culture which is a tradition for mcc to seat and talk inside the gutters made up of rocks and develop their minds. Recently Amaran movie is also released which shows the gutter college and life of MCC

I applied for many colleges and I got the admission call also but I chose this college in many aspects as this college is built in 1837 almost going to complete 2 decades. Secondly very beautiful and calm campus,you can learn a lot from this campus. Admission process is very smooth,you can apply to different courses offered by MCC and then according to your grades in school and colleges admissions are taken. For my course I found this college best as a zoology student we had to learn about animals and in your campus there are a lot of animals such as deer,peacock,pigs,hens,fishes etc etc We have a good college canteen which is very affordable.

Faculty to student relationship is very good as they share a friendly relation with students more.They are very helpfull and sweet. My departments all teachers are very sweet and according to the strength there are more than enough faculty members They are well qualified and they have done a lot of research work that are still going on. Most important CEO of bisleri is from my department. We have 3 internal exams called as CA best of 2 are taken and then average of these 2 are calculated. Each semester we have to score more than 40 marks out of 100.

No,for admission there is no such things like interview and test patterns. They only see the merit in your previous exams and score of your English subject in your previous exams. For admission in post graduate programs they look for the projects and research works.

Gate closing time is 7 pm for girls and for boys it is 10 pm. If we talk about campus timing library is opened till 8:30 pm which is a best place to seat and study a beautiful vintage library. We have 4 college gates that are situated in different parts of the city for an example Main gate in front of Tambaram railway station and bus stop,heber gate in front of anandpuram where majority of students stay in pg and hostels. There are a lot of gyms and hang out places such as Vishal and Vaishnav best for having good food,chaat hub for having some street side chaat tastes and pick and pack for grocery and all.locality is safe till midnight but try to avoid roaming alone as some of the people are not good here they will give you a judgmental look.
