Review of doc about dentistry

Being a doctor and helping patients is the thing which influenced me to chose it , i always wanted to become a doctor and serve people , as i couldn't make into MBBS I chose to go to BDS And talking to patients and communicating with them really helped me to get lot of information Exam is not that difficult to crack at all

I am currently pursuing my intership in my college , wnd it is compulsory to complete the intership over here , the only thing is we don't get paid for it which is very unfortunate, we get to see pateins regularly ...and can gain soo much knowledge

Fees BDS in karnataka has been increasing yearly , in private college , for the govt seat it was arround 60000 4 years befr i join the course ( 2020) , wen i joined in the year 2020 its 95000 ...and our hostel feess is 100000 pr year ....and i used to get scholarship of about 53000 per year , it was ssp scholarship....and for SC ppl fees arround 45000 and also no fees taken with scholarship of Rs 90000

All the types of books are available in my college 1.Oral pathology , general medicine, general surgery - are the third year subjects 2.General anatomy, general physiology, dental anatomy and dental histology - are the first year subjects 3.General pathology, pharmacology , preclinical prosthodontics, preclinical conservative dentistry - are the 2 nd year subjects 4. Oral medicine, oral radiology, conservative and endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, public health dentistry, paedodntics, periodontics , oral surgery - are the final year subjects We get all these books , even we get to read other books too , and also magazines are available other than dentistry And related to dentistry And we get recently updated things also through newly added magazines ...like laser dentistry and oncology related things We are allowed to use the library everytime even after completing our internship and pass out of the college through the Alumini card and also we are accessible for the PG preparation over here The campus life is soo good , we have very good campus and decent one , i feel so blessed to b in this campus , dust free and everything is available inside the campus ... Full of greenery , surrounded by buildings , temple is also available here , which feel so peaceful, campus is totally good ..

In every room , 3 people stays and there is attached washroom available .. Food is proper north Karnataka style , and so i never felt any difficulty in adjusting to it Rooms are kept very much clean , beacuse of good workers who cleans both room and washroom daily so they are kept very much clean no doubt in it One should come to hostel and pay the feel for registration

This college is near to my home , this is the reason I chose and other than this I wanted to join SDM College dharwad, for which i couldn't make into because of the cut off ....and Because of covide time , I left my couching class in the middle and came to my home , where I can't study much because of lot of distractions , but now after getting into my clinical postings into 3 rd year BDS made me realise and it got me out of my all regrets and i decide to improve myself in this field so well . For getting eligibility into my college , one should get eligible marks NEET exam .... after getting eligible marks one can go for counselling or else also join through the management quota in which fees is arround 4 lac per year

Faculty to students ratio is quiet appreciable. There are many good faculties in our college , we had professor named Dr Puranik sir and Dr Surekha ma'am who are husband and wife , used to teach very good and i stil remember wtver they have taught to us ...it feels so good to surrounded by such great faculties And Oral and maxillofacial surgeon of college, aDr Dandgi sir is so inspiring for us ...he have multi-speciality hospital in banglore and he comes to our college as a visiting staff and he so well versed in all kind of maxillofacial surgery , i feel so blessed to see his work at the OT ... There will be one exam at the end of the academic year conducted by the university ...EXAM HAVE different subjects exam each year and final year we have 9 subjects which feel so hectic although one can enjoy studying and. Also 9 subjects practical exams we wil b having...and each subject marks 70 marks and 30 marks internal so cracking it is a quiet easy ....at the end of college one should complete the intership of 1 year after which the students are eligible to write the Neet MDS exams for qualifying to study PG

Gym is also present in our college which is affordable with a good trainer also available, but the not all the equipments are not available ...not it gym the game like table tennis and badminton also one can play daily over there , havve a big ground where all the boys play volleyball, cricket etc Cafe in my campus is not so great one , but canteen over here is a good one Library facility is also very good Medical college library is available 24 × 7 and our college library open till 9 pm at the night Our hostel closes at arround 9 o clock in the night There are no such hangout places nearby
