Internships Opportunities

The college has provided internship opportunities for us in second semester which is not provided by any of the colleges. We did our internship in a multi national company called Litmus7. The college has offered a stipend of 10000 for everyone who has completed the internship.

Placement Experience

Normally students becomes eligible for campus placements from S6. After completing the course a student can get placed in a multi national company with a good salary package. The college has offered a minimum of 6 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I have paid during first and second year is 50000. Hostel fees is 78000 per year. Some students have a fees of 75000 per year for tuition. Admission fee of 10000 is paid to university.

Campus Life

The library have wide range books on every subject. The classes have smart boards. The College conduct tech events once a month. The college provide technical labs and provide add on courses. The college celebrates annual festivels.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in a room is a separate table and cupboard for each student other than bed. The food provided by hostel is not upto standard and could be improved. The hostel is affordable compared to other hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 78000 per year

Admission

The basic eligibility to enter the college is above 75% marks in physics, chemistry and maths combined in plus two board examination. Students can also enter the merit quote in college through KEAM exam

Faculty

Faculites are apporachable and friendly. Exams are conducted every week. Exams are conducted using previous question paper models which makes the end semester exam more easy. Faculites are quite apporachable and they conduct revision classes before the exams.

Night Life

The college have library facilities. The library closes at 6pm. The college campus is quite good to hangout with friends. The college has seating spaces for chilling. The college has store for necessary things.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I choose this college because the admission team from the college convinced me by telling their future plans. They said that they will provide us add on courses of free which make us earn 50000-100000 per year which allow us to pay our tuition fees as well but not wente in a good way there is only theory now no practical knowledge.Comparing with other colleges there is no celebrations here that is the main negative thing don't getting proper time to enjoy only studies . I chose this college bcs of their convincing. That the college will be very innovative,peer to peer learning,mentor-mentee system,freedom,no traditional system etc They did some of the things the said.
